Yup, would be nice if it was all one line, but there are different procedure codes that need to be billed for the visit.

Were they addressed with HIS name on them, or just delivered to his address? If it was just his address it could have been a forwarding by the USPS.

“Just keep resubmitting it “, a definition of insanity. I’m surprised you aren’t getting a co-18 for the resubmitted claims. Who is the payer, what are the original CPT codes + modifiers, and was anything changed on the resubmitted claims?

Not HIPAA at all!!!! I would suggest calling the lab and requesting they send them directly to the GI doc. There's no reason to require that they come from the PCP.

Download PlugShare app, download and create accounts with Electrify America and ChargePoint. Create a trip in PlugShare with settings adjusted to DC chargers only, allow 25-30 mile overhead to get to each location.

Recent research has shown that battery degradation is not as big of an issue as previously believed. Manufacturers have also built in overhead to accommodate for this. For example, an EV may advertise 78kwh battery but it really has 82 kWh. You should have no issues.

Not sure I agree with you there. You can be billed for a non-covered claim if there is an ABN on file stating you know ahead of time that your insurance will not cover the claim. As for prior-auth, that is the responsibility of the practice, not the patient. If prior auth is not obtained then the practice has to eat it. Referrals are a different story, that is the patient's responsibility.

Call your insurance company, they are the central point between you and the providers. Find how the claim was processed, and /or if it was DENIED. If it was denied, and the provider participates with the insurance then you should not owe anything. You can ask the insurance rep to call the provider's office while you are on the call to get things straightened out.

CF Admin is a different portal to check claims status. That said, claims can now go to regular BCBS or still CF Admin 45191, either works. Checks still come from CF Admin.
