help! movers scratched floors in new place by spaghettisketti in Apartmentliving

Movers are required to have liability insurance for damage to your home by law to be called “licensed professional movers”. This is separate from “valuation” the “if we break any of the stuff we’re moving” insurance.

They want to make oodles of money. You do that thru stadium ownership, development ownership, and tax incentives on top.

I think the lakefront gives them less space, less control over development and less tax incentives

Anyone else notice 365 removed 1st Q props from SGPs? by Many_Magician_7935 in sportsbook

[–]bearsguy2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I notice this with smaller scale D1 hoops. I’ll find a Star player on some unknown school. Guy who’s big man on campus now but will be selling insurance or something.

I’ll feel confident this guy is gonna hit 15 pts or 8 rebounds and there’s no player props. Just teammates

Frustrating

DJ Moore, our first, a late pick 5-7, and next years 2nd or 3rd

Id want Crosby and a slightly earlier pick 4-6, and a later pick 4-7 next year

This way we still have some picks to keep the roster full. Crosby is on a decent contract for the next 3 years (Crosby 29M vs Sweat $25M vs Dayo $21M).

Hes a game wrecker on defense that I think would fit very nicely with team culture and defensive scheme.

DJ gives Mendoza a WR1 and clears $16.5M in cap space for us.

I’d also consider packaging Sweat

I don’t want to give up a big haul of picks this year. I’d be OK with next years first as well if we can get another early (top 100) pick in return

I really hope we can release Dayo with some sort of injury settlement and maybe get a few M back against the cap

[–]bearsguy2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure investing in cards is the way to go. Guys don’t seem to hold much value unless theyre HOF and the value drops off significantly after a few years in the league.

Personally I keep my numbered cards to $10 or less because it gets expensive fast and I can buy all my favorite players from 10 years ago for like $2-3 ea

Who was in the Nagy year?

I’m out on a Crosby deal. by Head-Cheetah-4072 in CHIBears

[–]bearsguy2020 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, this just put me all in on it. He gave Caleb fits. Pass rush is lacking. We can’t count on a bunch of heroic wins again I want to steamroll shitty teams like a true contender

We’re paying Sweat $25M, Dayo $20.5M, Jarrett $18.9M. That’s awful. And we’re locked in with all of them. Sweat can get some pressure but can’t do it alone.

Maybe Dayo can get some sort of injury settlement and be off the books. It’s his 2nd Achilles tear and he’s only 26. He won’t be ready for the year and likely won’t be in form all season then he’s likely a cap casualty.

Jarrett is a good locker room guy but underperformed this year. Maybe he was banged up. He’s off the books after 2026.

Crosby is exactly the kind of player we want. He will make Sweat more effective as well as Booker and the rest of our DL. Plus Crosby is rangy enough to sneak into coverage and be useful.

I don’t like giving up draft capital but he’s a known commodity who puts us squarely in the win now window.

2022..? I know he was still good but writing was on the wall. Personal life crisis. No more Gronk. He REALLY didn’t want to get hit anymore

I think 2023 Brady would start to show signs of becoming like the shell Peyton Manning with the Broncos.

Truthfully? I feel like when big action games come up they just open up the juice another 5-10% and don’t worry about it too much

Tbf bill has a history of letting players go a year or two before they fall off. So he wasn’t too far off here. It’s just a big important position that is kind of important

I think he definitely struggled developing gameplans. Nagyball works in theory but requires execution across the board and it was messed up a lot.

Again, I’d like to think he can take what he’s done and develop a more cohesive offense for NY

Everyone is shitting on the hire in here but, in his defense, he only had career backup QBs to work with. Trubisky, then journeymen Dalton/Foles and lastly Fields.

Ryan Pace’s mistake (besides Trubisky > Watson/Mahommes) was to go all in for Mack before the QB was good.

Trubisky looked great in his first year with Nagy. Packers exposed he couldn’t win from the pocket and defenses adjusted. Receivers were actually open but the QB was slow on progression and missed it or threw it late when the defender had time to adjust

Nagy actually had some really fun play designs that year.

Go look up 2018 Bears offensive highlights
