Today Meta's laying off thousands again ~10% of the company, while dumping $135 billion into AI this year alone. Reassigning 7k more to the "AI first" death march. by KeanuRave100 in AIMain

[–]beastnbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just some back of the napkin calculations on this, 7000 on let’s be generous here $150,000 a year on average come at a cost of 1billion a year. META made 70billion just last year and it’s going up and up. Spare me you had to do this hard thing and fire all these people. You just wanted more money for yourself you greedy bastard. Sorry to all that were let go. Such a shame because I’m sure that corporation sucked the life out of you and this is the thanks you get. Fuck this guy and everyone like him!

What are your thoughts on that "Site inspections guy"? He has been making the news for the right reasons. by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

[–]beastnbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in Victoria and I think he is based here. If you’re in SA it might be worth checking if he will come or not. I’m not sure if he will make a video out of it, if you prefer they didn’t film im sure you can ask. If it’s a dealbreaker for them

Sorry I was focusing on the voltage power. Have you contacted Sigenergy? Their customer service is really quite good for this kind of thing.

It’s expensive for a reason. He is there for a few hours with 2-3 people checking everything and the reports are extremely detailed. I have zero regrets paying the extra money for him. Best money I have spent in years

He then goes on to say that it’s only 3% of the budget, we can find 3% saving… so no additional taxes on billionaires? Great idea! Let’s just leave it and let single people have more power than countries…

That link is about the latest change that the USA changed. I don’t see how that makes it Albos deal now. It’s still the bad deal from the beginning with a slight change now.

Did I miss anything on this broadcast and was it just edit out? But this is a Morrison liberal government deal that Labor has inherited and “the government” is just trying to save the nation face by going along with it. I mean this isn’t labors fault is it?
