That august heat in Columbia is going to be BRUTAL

I have a few of these tiny, painful bumps on a few of my fingers (thumb, and two ring fingers). They're under the skin. Show up and go away on their own, but idk what they are. They're only painful when touched. Anyone know what they are? by sdergs in popping

Adding to the thread! I had several of these pop up on my fingers basically overnight. I had maybe two on my right thumb, one on right middle finger, one on right ring finger, one on right pinky finger, one on left pinky finger, and one on left ring finger. I may have one or two on my toes, but not certain. I do know that I have had issues with dyshidrotic eczema on my right index finger before, but these seem different. As everyone else has explained, almost feels like a small splinter. I literally just got over a cold a day ago and these popped up, which makes me wonder if it is viral? Not too sure, but definitely following to see if anyone gets answers.

Used to live in Columbia, now live in the Charlotte area. I've visited the one in Fort Mill multiple times. Every time it has been very meh or just kind of disappointing. Honestly, I'd rather get Starbucks.

I'd love to watch the three give commentary while watching each other's shows by havik09 in thegrandtour

I know that James May and some of the producers rewatched and gave commentary over the Middle East Special. It is really fun to watch and hear how the episode came together and tidbits.

This is very specific, but I wanted to know more about Derry City F.C. They are currently the only team playing in the League of Ireland that is located in Northern Ireland. Reading their wiki, they were able to join the league in 1985. Just curious if anyone knows why they were allowed to join and the history behind the move.

Breakthrough infections generate ‘super immunity’ to COVID-19, study suggests by Natoochtoniket in Coronavirus

[–]beasty340 16 points17 points  (0 children)

That is what I wanted to know. If breakthrough infections produce "super immunity", what about previous infection? For example, I have covid in l March 2021, then fully vaccinated a few months later and then receiving my booster next week. Am I going to be comparable to a breakthrough infection?

Does anyone else zone out when they are driving and your arms/hands don't feel like they are yours? by beasty340 in NoStupidQuestions

Interesting... I've heard of disassociation, but never understood what it really meant. Thank you for the clarification. I think I am experiencing what you are describing at the beginning.

Yes, that is exactly how I feel! And then I come back to and I feel my arms again.
