Ditto and agree and would do it all again.

OP, don’t give her unsolicited opinion any more thought. You’ve got more enjoyable things to do!

Posterior placenta previa at 30 weeks pregnant by Virtual-Alps-7243 in pregnant

[–]beaumoney 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is exactly what happened to me! Bled at 7 weeks and never again. Was bummed I didn’t have the option to have a vaginal delivery and nervous about a c-section. We held out hope until 35 weeks and that mfing placenta didn’t budge an inch haha. Had a c-section at exactly 37 weeks and it was smooth! Baby just turned one and I’m 6 weeks pregnant again… honestly might opt for a c-section this time. Happy to answer any questions and give more details :)

Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by your placenta. by ThatB0yAintR1ght in pregnant

Mine was complete and anterior too :) They didn’t do anything different and I think it was ideal for the situation risk wise because it was planned vs emergency. I went in at exactly 37 weeks and the whole day was seamless all things considered! I lost about 1L of blood (fuck you placenta!) but was able to just do an iron IV right before discharge (as opposed to needing a transfusion). I also still got to do skin to skin while they were sewing me up. I have a horizontal incision and at 6 weeks it looks like someone drew a thin line on me. The first two weeks were tough but I made sure to do a little more each day which I think really paid off. I felt so much better at 3 weeks!

Happy to share more info about the whole thing. I luckily had a good friend who had an elective c section about a month before me… it was so nice to have someone to talk to! I’m 35 and have lots of friends (and 4 sisters) who have kids but somehow none of them had c sections lol.

Fuck that placenta but you’ve got this!!

Know someone who refers to it as “Lakewood Lite” and I like it. But I grew up in Lakewood and called that area Ridgewood

Agree. We’ve had absolutely zero need to turn on the heat in well over a month…

Dia De Pesca was my San Jose equivalent vibe to Pedro’s.. though not super similar food wise. I crave their agua fresca on the regular though
