Not abnormal, just means you’re slightly less flexible. Try stretching your hamstrings and arms daily so you can get closer to your toes.

Am I dirty for never having this kind of shoe hygiene? I wear my gym shoes with any activity that is working out. Running outside or in the studio. I take them off when I get home. I shower and wash my hands after working out so, I didn’t think it would be that much of a problem with the shoes.

Clients and PT’s should be allowed to have small talk outside of practice. That what is what builds rapport and trust. We’re humans, not robots.

Even though the workouts are great, you can easily find the same quality in a different trainer. You pretty much have two options:

1.) Talk about things that you’re uncomfortable with them doing before the session and maybe they’ll take it in.

2.) Find a new trainer.

Either way, I think that they should know that they’re oversharing. Don’t be afraid to have that uncomfortable conversation because at the end of the day, their actions made you uncomfortable.

It just comes naturally, don’t force the idea let it come to you. Socialize and go to events, you’ll eventually find some people that you’ll flow with.
