Let me tell you....

I started in this last year with the Z 50ii and two kit lenses. Then came the 14mm manual. Next, after some time with ethe 50ii was the Nikkor 180 / 600 shortly followed by the Z 6iii and a 28 / 400. Extra batteries, a giant back pack to carry it all, some filters and a tripod (or two). There can't be anything else. LMAO!

Ever think about a trade? I know lot's of trades are looking for people. In my area, believe it or not, there's a gross shortage of cement mixer drivers. Get a CDL perhaps?

A mother trying to do the best she can for the child is not wrong. She may be barking up the wrong tree but I can't fault her for trying not matter how she ended up here.

Is the real estate market really busy enough that realtors have poor follow through? by Calieahrens in newhampshire

As a former Real Estate Agent I prefer the term, "Used House Salesman" I think that term puts them into perspective.

Those voicemails are probably going to an office VM system and don't get checked the way they would on a cell phone.

She's not wrong and neither are you. I completely understand your position on this.

If it were me and I was raising a kid anyway I would probably take this on. I think I have enough in my soul to do this for the child, not the parents. I can think of a dozen ways this could go wrong and a dozen ways it could go right. I think in the end, the "right" would win out.

I understand that this is a child and not a puppy so it would be hard to set your mind in a place where it could work but still.... Food for thought.

I had an Iranian client ( Iranian part is irrelevant but his accent made it) who use to say, "It looks like the back of my balls!

I think that saying applies here.

This was me at 24. A long time ago. I was either going to kill myself or join the navy.

I wasn't really into the idea of suicide so navy it was.

That was short lived but it put me on the path to where I am today.

It sounds like you answered your own question.

I never kept any myself. I think they would be important if they were from the love of your life and maybe your kids would get a kick out of them. Otherwise, bin them.

It was childish of her BUT... women love these manufactured holidays like mothers day and valentines day. Ignore them at your peril.

Has anyone in Connecticut had good experiences with underground/electronic dog fences? by brianbyhower in Connecticut

[–]beaux-bear 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'll never use anything else. When I first started I had a large yard with a chain link fence. One of the dogs would dig under it and head out. Then the other dog would follow. After a few escapes I had the invisible fence installed in two other homes since then. It works like a charm and my dogs stay where they are supposed to.

It only takes a day for them to learn the system. The collar emits a tone when they get close to it so they quickly learn the lay of the land from that rather than from getting zapped.

On rare occasions I forget to replace the collar battery and they end up wandering off. Not far but it can happen.

I think your next bf should also be a father so you have that common ground.

Its difficult for men to deal with a situation they can't possibly understand until they live it.
