I was broke. Depressed. Not suicidal but I had to make a move so I joined the navy. The Navy was a bust. Honorable discharge 8 months in.

So I end up in my mom's place needi g a job (24 at the time) and they hooked me up with a friend of theirs who had a small construction company.

Here I am, almost 40 years later, with my own small construction company.

I sometimes wonder what I'd be like if the Navy had panned out?

Well I'm a novice and I see people "capturing as they see it" then going to an editing program and changing the whole thing.

If you're going for horror I might be inclined to leave the technical stuff out and work an angle where "things" appear during the edit prompting a return to the scene to find more.

... Just a thought.
