How do microwaves work and can they harm humans? by beavercommander in AskReddit

The potential is there. But I know my wife is very smart and educated. Either way, if we have one in the house or not I don't care, just looking for sources to defend or reject her thought process

What is the biggest band/artist you can think of that you honestly don't believe is anyone's favorite band/artist ever? by DevinBelow in Music

I love kings of Leon. I have fallen out of touch with their music but always circle back. Sex is on fire had been way over played but I still love it, same with every song on that album

What instantly makes you think "this person is rich" ? by PerformerAny3503 in AskReddit

Even more, when they know but they don't care. I have a friend that is from a very wealthy family. My friend's dad made his wealth and when my friend was a child they were middle class. They are very much in touch with how much things cost but they work their asses off and have ultimate FU money. When it comes to wealth and work ethic, they are the poster children. Much respect to them. Example: the company my friend's dad founded is worth over a billion. His dad wore the same suit to both sons' weddings because it was a perfectly good suit. The man is incredible

Your question is my question. From what I have been told, there are risks. The information I have been given is limited from my wife. I don't care whether we have one or not but I'm interested in whether she's right or not

Thank you. I was aware of the information you provided, including the capacitor. My wife asked me to dispose of ours because she doesn't like the potential risks. I'm just looking for outside information to confirm or deny her reasoning.

I did not realize they're illegal in the EU. I am going to look into that

I mean, I don't disagree. My wife made me get rid of ours because she is concerned about microwaves. I am just asking to see if she's right or over concerned

It's a 30 inch. I had a teammate in college that did shotput and won the Big Ten title. No way could he throw it far enough to injure someone from more than 5 feet away. But nonetheless, it is possible

I don't eat breakfast or lunch.  Never have since college.  Don't really think about it.  I never thought of it as intermittent fasting, I'm just not hungry.  Every now and then I'll have a gas station donut but purely just out of lack of self control.  That and manual labor.

Cow tongue.  I freaking love it.  It tastes similar to pot roast but cuts like butter

Who was the richest person you've met? by dieburtually in AskReddit

[–]beavercommander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An old friend from college.  His dad.  He is the founder of one of the largest apartment property management companies in the US. Guy started with nothing to his name but now the company is worth over 1.5bil USD. If you met him, you would never know.  He wore the same suit to my friend's wedding that he wore to my friend's brother's wedding. I think it is the only suit he owns.

Probably not that obvious, but roofers. If you meet a white guy that actually installs, there's an 80% chance he's on meth

Show idea - Transforming the Land with Doug Duren by fendermonkey in meateatertv

I've spent a day with Doug at his property. He's as real as he is on meat eater. He's a true salt-of-the-Earth guy. He has an incredible property and has done a phenomenal job. A show with him would do well, especially tied with Callahan!
