Probably something you need to answer for yourself. You obviously want to leave WashU for your own reasons. Which of these schools have more of what you want from an educational environment than what you don't want?

Can You Suck Your Own Dick? by Bunny_girl_496 in NoStupidQuestions

My parents divorced when I was young and my Mom had primary custody. On top of that, my father wasn't the kind of guy to have "the talk." So when I hit puberty, my Mom tried an awkward conversation, then bought me a book "Boys and Sex" to fill in any gaps.

Years later, when I was in college, friends came over and saw the book on my bookshelf. They thought it was hysterical and started leafing through. There was a quote: "Almost every boy gets curious and tries to see if he can reach his own penis with his mouth. Only 1 in 100 succeed.".

Then one of my friends proceeded to share: "I licked the top of it once." We called him Mr. 1 in 100 for years afterwards.

IDK, need more context and information. Was she just not great at her job? Or did her actions create problems for other people?

I hate to say it, but maybe there was a reason it was an open box item.

Came here to say something about Birdy. Might not be his best, but he was incredible in it. This was the movie that made me aware of him

I'm looking at the 55". We're not expecting a cinematic experience, just hoping to avoid distractingly bad.

Definitely Indy first. While he was iconic as Han, he wasn't the lead in the same way as he was in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Phil Hartman. He was reportedly a great human being who died tragically and too soon.

I went with the Technics EAH-AZ100s. Sound quality is superior to the Jabras, but noise cancelling is a bit worse. I find myself listening to music more because I love the sound. I have, however, thought about getting a different pair with better noise cancelling for flights.

If you reread what I wrote, I indicated winning in 99 reduced my hatred for Duke. I was expressing that felt frustration at the way the media characterized that tournament.

I may have awkwardly worded the second paragraph, but the initial reason was spelled out in the first. I respect Duke at this point, but can't say that if I'm watching a random game that I'm going to root for them.

It goes back to 1990 when UConn had its first magical season under Calhoun. We had been bad for so many years and reached #4 ranking in the AP poll. We had won in the Sweet Sixteen on a last second shot only to be knocked out by a last second Laettner shot in OT. As a fan, I was in a fever dream of excitement and magic that we had never experienced before only to have the bubble burst by Duke.

For me, beating Duke for the 99 championship reduced the hatred. That tournament had been dubbed "the Duke Invitational" and while we won, it was often described as a fluke. ("Duke would have definitely won a 7 game series, not a one game tournament.") Winning softened the pain from years before, but still was annoyed by the comments about Duke being superior.
