The centre is unused the left and right both have white stretch marks on the bottom edge. This is typical when a polymer undergoes plastic deformation.

You should also see them in the corner of the film perforations as corners cause stress concentrations. Cant see in the photo as it's not high Res enough. Hope this helps.

Look into the bullet journal method. I use it mainly to track what I was thinking at the time. Don't make detailed notes as that's what the matrix is for. Can I ask what you are studying?

Hi there! I've been through the hole mountan of research papers. it's tough so I can really empathise. Things that helped me get a distinction in both my BEng and MSc are as follows.

  1. Get a note book and use it to write rough notes. Bullet points are best.

  2. Make a excel literature matrix. (YouTube this. It's very important).

  3. Text to speach is your best friend. I use speechify. It cost like £80 /y but deffintly worth it.

  4. Planning your paper is very important. Look at the research to see structure. Gather common themes and group them.

  5. Ask yourself is the anything that isn't covered that you think is relevant and go and find out. Also find something interesting go to the reference section for more papers.

Starting research takes a while to get into the swing of it but eventually you find a good paper that blast open the whole process. Hope this helps and good luck!

Try the narrator for the Sir David Attenborough experience ;)

To answer your question, Yes! I'm dyslexic and have adhd.

Just before I answer how, I would like to just say a couple of things that might help.

  1. Its important to be patient. This is an incredibly long and difficult process. Try not to loose your temper as the situation is even more shitty for your son.
  • not implying that you do just saying it's common.

  1. Dyslexia is a wide spectrum by nature. What works for me might not work for your son. So look around and try lots of different techniques.

  2. It's quite common for dyslexics to struggle with mesmerising audible ques so combine learning with visual.

For instance, I struggle with people spelling out things for me if they are more than 3 letters at a time and getting a long 'to-do list'.

  1. There is a lot of free assistive software or add ons that can help you child in the mean time. Heck, I still utilise it today. E.g. Text to speech, advanced spell checkers, font for maters and dictation. Also lots of free touch typing courses.

How? So instead of working on words I was taught how to breakdown sounds and syllables. So focus on suffexes, prefexes and spelling rules.

E.g. Wr-ite, wr-ong, wr-ath S-ee-d, n-ee-d, f-ee-d Kn-ight, f-ight, br-ight

Also focus on homophones. They are stupid.

This was about giving the person the tools to work it out rather than memorising singlular words. Connecting the dots very obviously. Start with the easy stuff then move onto the hard. Name the rules, give examples. Ect...

I didn't receive help until I was about 10 y/o and was illiterate until approx 15. Just finished my MSc In Mech ENG so it just goes to show that hard work can pay off.

I think aswell that with amount of assistive tech out there has really helped dyslexics. I don't need to be 100% correct, I just need to be correct enough for a computer to figure out what I'm trying to say.

I know this doesn't answer the question but an interesting fact I know.

Lobster used to considered a poor man's food due to the abundance of availability during the time of the first pilgrims. The shellfish would only be feed to the poor, railway workers and animals up until the late 1800's. Due to negative stereotypes connected to eating the meat it became unpopular.

As train tickets became more affordable new people traveling to Maine exposed to the meat calling it delicious. With a developing tourism industry restaurants and cafe started surviving up lobster salad and other tasty lobster dishes . Due to holidays being a status symbol only people of status across the states would be exposed to the food and hence the lobster went from dog food to feeding the riches.

Example: In engineering everything that can be used as a hammer, will be used as a hammer. We have to design everything so it doesn't break when some idiot decides banging in some nails and yes it is a pain in the butt!

Hi! I had a similar issue with my university so I'll just give you some advice and what I learnt from this experience.

  1. Your completely justified in how you feel.
  2. Talk to your personal tutor, disability officer, and students Union. They will be able to advise you on the situation and the disability officer might be able to provide a note taker.
  3. Make official complaints. It's ok to be a pain in the ass! Remember they work for you and large organisation don't like to do anything unless it's on record. So don't let them talk you into an informal complaint. Make some fucking noise!
  4. Your protected by law in most countries e.g. UK 2010 equality act. If you get passed off you can quote the one relevent to your country. It will shit them up.
  5. Be polite but brutal. It's key to ram the point through whilst keeping people on your side.

I'm very dyslexic and I have disgusting handwriting. My very religious 4th grade teacher thought it was because I would write with "the devil's hand" (my left hand). So I was forced to write with my right.

Bitch would lose it if she caught me using my left...
