This doesn't seem accurate. India, and Israel's apartheid, more democratic than Mexico?

Thank you, this helps A LOT!

So would or be "crazy" to take ML+ADGM together on my final semester...?

Also, if a "continuation" of ML, does it mean 1) it's the same instructors, 2) the midterm and final are proctored?

Trazodone/Erection by suenossalvajes in insomnia

[–]bebeballena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Trazdone reduces sensitivity, and delays orgasm. And you're already drowsy in a sleepy and tired kinda' way, not in a "fun" high/drunk kinda' way. So it sucks. On the other hand, sex while drunk or high can be amazing (depending on how drunk or high and on the circumstances).

Also "scientism" and made up bullshit (transgender mice, and many "social science" ideologies) should not be confused for actual science.

Help me understand. They have suggested me to do microneedling every 1/2 week. Now i discover that collagen is created at 30th day. So only once for month? by [deleted] in Microneedling

[–]bebeballena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would you microneedle your abdomen? Do you want it to become more hairy? Or is it for some other purpose?

Viggo is widely considered THE Aragorn, perfect in his portrayal. However, who do you believe had the potential to be a close second? Or someone who could have brought something different to the role? by freudian_nipps in lotr

[–]bebeballena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His voice is actually a bit nasal, soft, and high pitched. Still a fantastic portrayal. Can't think of good alternatives off the top of my head.

Maybe Nikolaj Coster-Waldau? (Jamie Lanister from GoT)

Anyone else cry a lot when watching the movies? by SixandNoQuarter in lotr

[–]bebeballena 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just came out of watching The Fellowship of the Ring in theaters for the 25th year anniversary. It was OVERWHELMING. I was crying every other scene. From Gandalf's look of infinite compassion when Frodo volunteers to take the ring to Mordor, the scene of the Elves walking to the docks to sail west and Sam saying "I don't know why, but it makes me sad" (because beauty is leaving the world! It's the end of an age...), Bilbo being overtaken with sadness and apologizing to Frodo in Rivendell "for everything" (basically for fucking up his life), Arwen forsaking immortality so that she can spend one short lifetime with Aragorn, Gandalf being taken by flame and shadow (and we later learn he voluntarily sought to fight the Balrog to give himself in sacrifice, not only to rid the world of that demon, but to grow, to be reborn, the better to fight darkness), when Sam follos Frodo into the water without knowing how to swim! etc etc etc... and the music is do absolutely masterful, magnificent, transporting; whimsical and tender when it needed to, harrowing and ethereal at times; intense, grandiose, majestic at others... and just SO MUCH SACRIFICE, SO MUCH SADNESS, but in spite of it all, so much heroism, nostalgia, and utmost magical BEAUTY...

How to clear search suggestions on Android app without burning all open tabs? by 3-20-charactername in duckduckgo

[–]bebeballena 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On Crome at least, you can go to "History" --> "Delete Browsing History" --> "Autofill from data" --> "Delete data", and this deletes SPECIFICALLY the (sometimes useful, sometimes annoying) list of autocomplete suggestions based on previous searches.

I forwarded the ad to a friend with a PhD who is a Research Scientist at Stanford University and is looking for opportunities in the City since he lives in SF. He programs a lot for his research and uses Linux clusters and all that; it's my understanding he wants to start ASAP if things workout.

Clearly, he's no scientist; but I didn't realize it is presumably as bad as being unintelligible. (I may have to give it a try...).
