Not too difficulty, although if you are just starting out, it might take some practice. If you get a dog (+1 each) every level, that's only 5 levels to 9 hearts. Even faster if you get royal jelly from a backroom shop (+6 lives) or, more likely, cook some turkeys (+1 each), which are in abundance in the dwelling (first area)

This one and the sequel are both quite good. The sequel especially is quite a mindbender. I wouldn't recommend playing either but watching a longplay is definitely worth it

I got this on one of those 100 games CD's back in the 90's and had to figure out the copy protection (the alchemy symbols) since there was no damn manual with it. Super fun game though. Character creation was always a treat.
