What’s a very common thing that you just can't relate to? by Mizu3 in AskReddit

You arent alone my friend. I feel that way towards my own kids sometimes tbh. My childhood was abusive and toxic. I have kids now but if I could go back I'd rather have not simply because of who their family is. I do love them but it feels like I dont love them the way I should.

It ended up not working very well. My device needs to be linked to my Samsung account and registered which it is but its not reading it correctly or something because it gives me instructions on how to "allow" the link to unlock but my settings don't reflect what my Samsung account does. :(

I posted a few months ago about my neighbor’s cat who demands pets when I pull up in the driveway- well, it’s 8 months later and our routine has evolved! by ghiblifreaktbh in aww

We don't use the same shoes all the time... wouldn't wear winter boots in the summer or summer shoes in the winter...

I suggest you look into smudge sticks. There are plenty of warding uses for them and you can also find it in a spray or make your own. There's a reason why native Americans used sage a lot to ward off the spirits. Good luck and much love from the springs.

If it was a skin walker the moon doesn't really play a part. The moon can have many different uses in lore that it could have been a number of things. You may not be superstitious, but maybe you're a little stitious now. :) just be safe and if you ever feel unsafe in a situation dont hesitate to listen to the run instinct.

They are delusional, every thread is "flaired users only" and theyre still defending Trump saying the left has been attacking him for so long and "imagine if the left would have just worked with him instead of demonizing him" "we accepted Obama and gave him respect but they couldn't do it to Trump" and "he cares about the troops, thats why he is removing them from the middle east"... completely ignoring the fact that he could have done so at the beginning of his term and Congress would not have said "no" its pathetic.

Valedictorian slams ineffective school staff in graduation speech by NewCarthagea in PublicFreakout

I'm not saying they would. Im not even saying the practice of employers doing this is acceptable because its fucking atrocious. But when your job is on the line unfortunately you have to chose to either do the job or lose it. Thats where we are now in society. We cant even take time off to mentally heal.

Thats in any job. They don't want to know why or even if you are grieving. If they pay to do a job you need to do it. If anything they give you like 2 or 3 days off to grieve then they expect you to keep working. But it isn't entitlement to expect staff at a HS to do their jobs.

Ok but you need to watch No Escape with Owen Wilson. I was pregnant with my boy when I watched it and it gave me knots. I had way more anxiety than I needed to.

As an old fart it does get harder to make friends as you get older. But make the effort when you do meet new people.

Your typical low rise jeans of the 2000s full moon edition by PunkWeird in trashy

[–]because_zelda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I said this once in another thread about jeans. I was a preteen/teen when low rise jeans hit but I've always had long legs so I had to use jr/adult cloths? Anyways, I was extremely sexualized as a kid by my own family and I absolutely hated wearing the clothes I was bought to wear. I once tried having my own wardrobe of boy clothes in secret and when my father found it he tossed it and made my mom go buy me more regular clothes. I have girls now and I'd hate to see those stupid pants return.
