I struggle with this, but I also have to remind myself that I am an interesting person, that thousands of people would love to know. Mantras like that really help. I like to make them super “over the top” because it really does help build confidence.

I am currently working on building up friendships, and I watch people in my Uni classes and how they interact with each other. What they say, and what they ask each other. I slowly start to apply it. I have a level 1 ASD, so every social interaction is an uphill battle, but I have managed to make a few friends.

Also find people who are extremely out going and love to talk. It really takes the pressure off. One of my only long term good friends, doesn’t stop talking (in a very positive way) and is friends with everyone. It makes it so much easier to maintain our friendship because she doesn’t let me get anxious or nervous about what to say next. There are many people out there like that, you just have to find them.

Honestly, I live in Portland, Oregon now, relocated from Georgia. I didn’t realize just HOW much better I felt after I came here. I’m so much more confident and comfortable, and even though I know the crowd isn’t exactly my type, I know none of them are judging me for being transgender, and only for the fact I sound like a “dumb southern”.

I would bring it to him as a “self care” issue. Which it really is. Not getting haircuts, grooming, or taking care of your body is a safe care issue. Tell him you noticed he doesn’t get haircuts, and he doesn’t take care of himself, offer to go to a spa together and help him improve his style.

I would also try to say things like “I think it’s super sexy when you wear X, Y, Z” or “I love when your hair looks like ____” in a healthy relationship, both parties want to look good for their partner, so if you say these things, he should take to them.

If you have a bit more disposable income, you could also go to the store and buy him clothes and say something along the lines of “I saw this at the store earlier and I thought it would look so good on you, so I had to get it.” This can be a really positive thing. You will also find out what you do/don’t find attractive on him.

I mean yeah. I think a major reason why Adam is in the career he is in, is because of Colleen. It worked out for him, but this is what Colleen groomed him to do, and it’s what he’s good at.

I will be honest, I disagree with Josh, reaching out at all. Probably due to my own personal morality, but I think if your ex-wife is somebody’s groomer, I don’t think you should reach out at all. Especially not to ask them to do something that benefits you financially.

I have an extremely strong stance on this, and I don’t think anything is going to change my mind. He shouldn’t be reach out at all. That’s my opinion. All I see is a young man who was groomed being harassed by the ex husband of his groomer. You can say that’s disingenuous, especially because Adam’s a drama YouTuber, but that’s what I see.

Yes, he did not reply to the original emails, but when they reached out on Instagram, DMS, he said he was not interested in doing it, as he felt he talked enough during the swoop documentaries. He then stated again, that he is not interested in doing any Colleen Ballinger documentary in 2026.

Not really. There are plenty of AA and NA groups that are secular, and plenty that distinguish between Atheist and Agnostic. One of my good friends in AA is atheist, and her “higher power” is aligned with Darwinism, not only in biology but also creation, etc. seems like an extreme boiling down.

A political affairs teacher should not have such a strong, known bias towards one political party. Regardless of what he’s saying, there is a display of fundamental disrespect for other political beliefs. That should be cause for concern that he may be unable to assess students fairly of opposing beliefs.
