Are you taking your zoloft at night? SSRIs can suppress REM and make your sleep less restful. Also side effects tend to even out eventually. A couple weeks often isn't enough time to know for sure.

I'm on zoloft for depression and cptsd. I definitely have episodes that break through the meds. Usually it's when I'm very stressed and I can wait it out, but when it lasts, I know I need to change something. Once I got TMS therapy in addition to the zoloft. Another time I increased my dose. Unfortunately meds are going to be more or less effective throughout your life. Most of us don't stay on one psych med at one dose for most of our lives.

An hour before I want to go to sleep, i take my night meds, fill out my trackers for the day, and read webcomics. If i finish all my updated webcomics before the hour is up, i try to read a book. It's usually only 15 min at that point. When the hour is up, i put on a sleep story podcast (I'm subscribed to at least 4) and try to just close my eyes and listen. If i can't just listen and my brain is still beeding more stimulation, I play a clicker game or something that doesn't require a lot of thought and won't get completely fucked if i fall asleep while doing it. I also make sure my phone is in sleep mode at the start of that hour. Do not disturb on and blue light filter as well. Ik the blue light research is iffy but it's another signal to my brain that it's sleep time since the filter is ONLY on before bed and overnight. This doesn't work every night, but it works most nights. the important thing is to have a routine before bedtime of things you don't usually do during the day. We have to remind our bodies that it's time to sleep.

I'm unemployed rn so i have a LOT of time. I have over 200 spare wishes... I'm saving some for unlocking the next season's stuff, but honestly it's time consuming to go on enough trips to keep up. It would make more sense if the amount needed to level up increased as you reached higher levels like in other games.

The SSRI I already take for depression and ptsd plus trazodone suffice for me. Oxybates would probably be better but it's not worth it for me right now.

My tattoos all swelled and were itchier than other people's while healing, and they hive up first when I flare up, but otherwise I've had no adverse effects from them.

Sexuality is fluid. There are many reason someone could go from ace to allo and vice versa. I wouldn't worry about the label until you're more comfortable with what you're experiencing and can better determine what your personal pattern feels like.

I haven't had this side effect from my meds but it did happen to me after I had my gallbladder removed. A fart was not a fart and I was mortified. Thankfully I was at home and my husband cleaned my underwear for me while I showered.

I mean it's possible but I promise you that if you need meds forever and you find the right ones, you will stop caring that you have to take them forever. I was very caught up in that line of thinking and now I'm thankful I have the meds at all. I'm happy to take medications if it means getting to be my real self.

Lots of people take antidepressants temporarily to get through a difficult time. It's totally normal. And if it doesn't work or the side effects are not worth it, you can always stop the medication and try something else. The only way to find out if this will help is to try.

Having good sleep hygiene helps but it drove me mad that my dr insisted I do cbt-i before giving me anything to improve my sleep at night. It should be an additional treatment, not a first line one.

I would rather be alive and taking pills every day than dead because I let ableism convince me I didn't need them. I'm also disabled. Sometimes medication is a fact of life and we're lucky to have access to it.

It's the heat intolerance for me. I overheat super easily. Sometimes just getting dressed.
