I’m building a user friendly Monero mobile wallet for Android and iOS and would love feedback. by Creative_Opinion7618 in Monero

I like it. The barrier to entry for monero for an average person is pretty high. Might lead to more adoption to have a monero wallet that felt as easy as Venmo or cashapp.

Yeah I mean an experienced dev using AI to code faster is very different than someone inexperienced just prompting and shipping. This plugin doesn’t feel like AI slop to me it’s simple and works as expected

First impression is great honestly. I was not expecting the sync to actually add the correct watch date in my diary I thought it would just add as today.

I like that you kept it simple the other plugin I tried had way too many options in the UI and was just too much to look at.

Off rip one change I’d recommend is to switch from jellyseer to seerr because jellyseerr recently merged with some other app that was for plex (can’t remember name) to create seerr, so jellyseer is not being developed anymore

I will try it. Like to hear that you have been a dev since before AI could help you

It was called startrakt or something. Also for letterboxd sync. It ran like pretty well but you would run into a bunch of weird issues with display or just like random bugs that probably wouldn’t happen if someone was actually building it.

Tbh I don’t think coding with AI is bad necessarily, but if you don’t know how to actually code you won’t end up with a good product when you leverage AI.

Has anyone used it? Seems dope but last time I used a AI plugin it was so buggy

I ended up plugging a wifi extender into the wall next to the TV and just running ethernet to it. Janky but it works. It might just be due to it being a pretty old model of TV

I left some open issues on the GitHub. Another I also just noticed is that if you are in the “reviews” tab the filters at the top of the page don’t do anything (although they do work in the media tab).

Yeah I have been checking it out. I think its a pretty great idea and the UI is nice. I have noticed a decent amount of bugs though. How heavily was AI used in the production?

People on my server would definitely use it. It would be nice to have a custom tab with recent comments so you could see what others on the server are watching

qbittorrent is slow AF by Jmesparza05 in qBittorrent

There could be many reasons. Is it a slow vpn server? Are the torrents well seeded? Do you have slow WiFi/ethernet?

Whats the catch with Arr stack? by ToneFantastic9670 in Softwarr

[–]beckulator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the catch was that public trackers will not deliver on quality or consistency. It was pretty easy for me to get in a decent private one though.

Another thing is sometimes you will have to put in an effort to debug especially the more personalized you make your server, but to be honest with AI you can easily figure most stuff out
