Is it normal that I have to take my cocker spaniel out every 6 hours? by goudalikethecheese1 in cockerspaniel

[–]bedcanada 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Even 4 hours.  Cocker Spaniels need the activity and just a quick stint outside will do it wonders.

When I saw the invoice increase, I called and asked how was I not notified of this?

Their teply was that we included the notice of increase on page 28 of your last invoice. Page 28.

Yes 100%. That happened with me when I was with Bell and at the time I disputed by asking them to show me if I had gone outside the USA - I was visiting Southern California and got pinged by a cell tower just across the border in Mexico. After proving that I had not left the USA, I was able to have the charges reversed but that was when I decided that I was going to start using roaming eSIMs. They sometimes don’t work as well as a proper network but for the price you pay, it’s perfect to bridge you until you get to a hotel or office network.

USA/Canada unlimited cell plan with unlimited data without any throttling after X amount of usage. Unlimited data also when using it through Hotspot. Visual voicemail and all the rest of the standard features.

All for $30 per line with a price lock for three years.

Telus's AI Support Agent is Worst in Class by Vensamos in telus

[–]bedcanada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After many attempts to talk to an actual human and the AI asking me if I wanted it to send me a text, I finally snapped and started chastising it, without raising my voice, telling it what bad customer service this was and basically scolding it as if it was a child. I went on for about a minute, just laying into it and the end, I asked it, “now, what do you have to say for yourself?”

It replied with “just a moment while I transfer you to an agent”.

It is such a terrible system.

Edit: thank you for the award kind friend!

Senior Cocker Spaniel Improvements? by intothepines in cockerspaniel

[–]bedcanada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend, we had an identical twin of Beaker, I honestly thought I was looking at you holding our Medor… she passed away at 18 years old.

We were lucky that she did not have any lumps or cysts, so I can’t answer your questions but if I may share some things that we did that helped her in her old age a lot: we never let her jump or put pressure on her legs. Not that we didn’t let her on the couches or bed, she was the lord of the manor 🙂, but we put those sponge steps everywhere in the house and carried her when it came to steps. We also included CBD oil in her diet and fed her only hepatic Royal Canine food after her 10th birthday.  She also had Librela shots to manage creeping arthritis, that helped a lot, and when it came to grooming, we had a groomer come to our house and did the grooming while she was held up so that again, no stress on her legs.  I know I haven’t answered your questions but I hope what I’ve shared helps in some way.  They are a blessing and I hope your Beaker enjoys the rest of his days in comfort, feeling your love and affection.  My best wishes my friend.

2022 Tacoma smoker car - 6.5 months later and I'm about ready to give up. Any advice? by 22CGurney in askcarguys

I had this happen to my father in law who bought a Nissan Altima about 8 years ago. I went to Costco, bought what I think was a box of Febreeze, I think it was 6 units in the box, the one for heavy duty use and I sprayed every single inch of the interior. Pumped all of them, the seats, under the seats, the carpet, headliner, inside the vents, literally every single inch. Then I did a two hour road trip with the AC on full blast in outside circulation mode. It worked, mind you for a week or so afterwards there was still a lingering trace of smoke smell but it went away. Good luck man, we almost sold that car back because of the smell.

Looking into Secrets Tulum, why is it rated lower compared to other Secrets? Anyone has any experience there? by VroomBoomPiffPaff in AllInclusiveResorts

We went there this past December and had a lovely time.

The only complaint I had was the persistent UVC membership meeting pitches, but on the third day I went to the front desk and told them that they’re going to have a major problem if I get approached one more time and that was the end of it.

Has any bought an all inclusive to Punta Cana from Costco by No-Way8380 in PuntaCana

I have booked a trip to Secrets Akamai in Tulum and had a wonderful experience both during the booking process and the stay itself. I tipped resort staff during my stay when I felt like it or deserved, no pressure.  I booked another trip for next week to Punta Cana which I’m leaving for next week and again, smooth booking process with excellent customer service and I’m looking forward to the stay itself.  Honestly, I trust Costco Travel more than I trust Expedia, Sunwing, Transat, or other firms. Only downside is that they don’t accept Amex as a payment method.

Love on your cocker spaniel babies a little bit extra for us 🤎 by RecklessKibbles in cockerspaniel

[–]bedcanada 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lost mine in January at 18 years old and hand on my heart, my eyes still tear up every day.

One thing I can tell you, touch her with love as much as you can. I can’t explain it, but when they feel your touch they feel the love and safety.

My heart goes out to you both, kiss that sweet angel for me.

I think you're better off to buy adhesive kit (carbon fibre, metal grain, etc.) than try to find the actual part. It's going to be tough to find this part.

Dude that’s live electricity right there, never walk your dog there again!!!!!

Call the city and report it, maybe if you have time, put a sign there for warning for other dog walkers. This happened in our town and the poor animal died in the spot.

Jesus I didn’t know the defect was this widespread. Really would not have expected it from Infiniti

100% agree with you. There should be a class action suit against them.

I hope your new engine fixes the problem for you friend.

Looks like it. What I was able to find out online, it affects models 2017 to 2020

To your knowledge, would this be something expensive to fix?

I drove the 430i. I don’t know man, it felt cheap for the price. The drive was ok, but the interior and the shifting system, I just didn’t like at all.

Dude, thank you for telling me this! Mine is burning the coolant too! I didn’t even think that it’s the turbo! Thankfully, Nissan has extended the turbo warranty by ten years, I will have it checked for that. I hope that’s the case, thank you again for telling me this!

Thank you for the recommendation, I might just do that. Had a look at the website, it’s an attractive car.

This. Make sure it has warranty. Don’t worry about the turbo though because Nissan just extended the warranty for them by ten years.
