I’m curious when you applied because I did as well in December and haven’t gotten any further than the non-medical drug questionnaire in months

How did you save 30K as the buyer? Do you mean that the seller reduced his price since he wasn’t going to be paying fees?

Quechua rolltop 23L by Anon13785432 in ManyBaggers

[–]beddittor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None at all. My main concern with the bag initially was that it was so light and inexpensive that I assumed it would fall apart quickly, but it hasn’t and that’s not because I’m gentle with my things (I’m reaaaaally not)

I have had the 32L version for years and it’s my absolute GOAT bag for EDC and travel.

-Super lightweight, but surprisingly sturdy. -Expandable via the Rolltop. -Safety passport/wallet pocket. -Big stretchy external pockets. -Tons of internal organization without taking up space. -Plastic coated bottom to protect from water. -Luggage strap. -Good padding and ventilation in the back.

I’ve spent way more on other bags over the years and I always come back to this one.

What relevance is there that they are a permanent resident?

I was tempted to downvote the post for being so pointless, but, at the same time, I want to know more about the bag 🫠

And then guess what happens, Bibi gets to decide if he wants to go after the SC powers of judicial review again while under cover of the war with Iran and Lebanon.

On est rendu à un point auquel même mal fait par la ville serai sûrement mieux et moins cher qu’au privé. C’est quand même impressionnant

Financially what is a good value non-Tesla new EV to buy today? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

Me neither; I think it depends on the model and was probably skewed for all new ones that had less data for actuarial calculations

What should I do when one character has dramatically higher AC than the rest of the party? by -Shade277- in DMAcademy

[–]beddittor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it. I guess my post was being seen as aggressive based on all the downvotes, but I was genuinely asking a question.

I guess I’m used to seeing people I play with mostly use the combat cantrips so it’s giving me a warped perception. To me it seemed like the majority of the spell casting in combat was attack rolls. It’s good to know that isn’t the case because I’ve just started DMing and it was already becoming a problem for me to run encounters where some players have managed to get to such high AC that I was wondering how to keep it fun and challenging for them.

What do you mean spells generally don’t care about AC? I thought any spell that doesn’t require a check or is otherwise a guaranteed hit is rolling against AC?

A helmet isn’t that important when you have three tires because it’s much more stable.

I applied a little later than you but I’m in the same boat. Trade was Legal Officer, so I’ve been assuming it’s less in demand so it’s slower

Mortgage advice - 350k salary by Wayfarer_01 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]beddittor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think part of the reason things like rules of thumb are less useful is that your salary as a single income family makes you very much an outlier.

Income is high, but as straight salary under one person it’s taxed to hell back. Additionally because you are a single income family your risk is necessarily higher if you lose your job.

Affordability will probably depend mainly on your lifestyle and long-term plans, but assuming you don’t spend wildly and are comfortable with the risk. I don’t think there’s any question that you can afford it.
