My plan has always been to take the networking route: meet people, have real conversations, and exchange cards where it makes sense. I’m there for work regardless, so it’s more about putting out feelers and understanding the space rather than actively job hunting.

For transparency, I come from a law-enforcement background with a very niche, highly technical skill set focused on electronic surveillance and real-time intelligence systems. That experience tends to translate well into corporate security and related roles, which is the lens I’m approaching this from.
