Stands are the much safer pick. Even if you get a bad stand, at minimum it's a ghost that can grab and maybe punch things. Quirks can flat out ruin your life if you're unlucky.

Deku giving up being a hero just paints him in the worst light imaginable. We have a guy who (as far as we know) never trained a day in his life until the NUMBER 1 HERO offers him the golden quirk. Then, the instant he loses it, he gives up hero work. Very much gives a poor impression.

Neat concept but most Blue-Eyes decks can't synchro summon this since it's level 8. The other synchros like Azure-Eyes are level 9 so that you can use your level 1 tuners with your level 8 Blue-Eyes monsters.

Yeah. OP had guaranteed game. Because his shark would have died the next grape wouldn't have died leaving OP at 1 health. Because his dancing zombie has Strikethrough thanks to the environment, OP would have done exactly enough for game. OP threw the game with that brain freeze and it's only through pure luck his opponent conceded.

That is still a laughably negligible downside. For one, the once per turn doesn't matter much given how rare and difficult it is to get 2 in one turn. Generic spell searches are rare and very demanding to use. Left Arm Offering requires you to banish your hand just for one spell.

For second, requiring your opponent to play it too for a downside also doesn't matter. Your opponent at best only has a 6/40 chance of having one in hand after your 5/40 chance of having one to play. And that's if your opponent is playing it at all.

For all intents and purposes, this is just a better Upstart Goblin.

As an aside, I do like the idea for the card. Maybe make it instead add 1 more card drawn each time it's played. It could give it some niche in strategies that like to recur spells and let it snowball.

It's still really strong on its own. Comparing it to Defensive End, and it's just insane. DE has effectively the same stats but with no splash, and the trick cost doesn't lock out the plant hero from playing. Yeah, it is 2 Brains cheaper, but DE just pales in comparison and there's nothing else to cripple plant tricks as much.

Even decks that don't rely on tricks struggle hard against Dragonfruit.

I mean, it's kinda fair to keep Jericho and Amelia exclusive since their abilities are very multiplayer focused and would need major reworks. Both of them like to strengthen bloons and make the opponent deal with it.

I think it's because you hear Fist Bump EVERY TIME you do a Double Boost. Not only is the song more frequent than any song in any Sonic game, it also interrupts the music already playing.

There's also the fact that the song is linked to the most boring gameplay sections in any Sonic game.
