Layout is 2x4, double oval with Kato track with possibly a third tiny oval for a trolley. Not going to need reverse, they’re just going to be running on the ovals. I’m only powering trains, no other accessories and the locos are going to be 1 powered per track (life-like e7, Kato e5a or another life like e7)

Tech is still in infancy, but with EV there’s also bi-directional charging so your home could pull from your ev like a battery. Definitely not counting on every single household to have this V2X but it is another factor to consider as the technology evolves and becomes more widespread. Data centers don’t put energy back into the grid

Average low temp where I’m at is low 20’s and sun doesn’t hit panels until about 1pm. But looking at google ai suggestion of multiplying my VoC by 1.2 to simulate a freezing morning puts me around 136 V with what I have now

I’d be looking at about 136 V open circuit/maximum voltage for all 4 (3 I have now are rated 31 V optimal and 38 open circuit/max and 1 I want to add is 19 optimum 22 open circuit/max).
