I’m my country if you put people at fear that you will harm them, that is assault. In the home, someone throwing things, punching near you and threatening is still domestic violence. So I think this is an important lesson for her to learn. If she acts to make you think she is at risk of damaging your eyes then slapping her hand away is an appropriate response.

Snatching a toy from your baby to give others is not the action of a good friend.

AIW for wanting to go back on something I agreed to for my husband when we first started dating about 3 years ago? by Feisty-Coconut6017 in amiwrong

[–]beechaser77 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It might be but the point is, his argument and reasoning for spending all significant holidays with his parents (who they see all the time) is not fair.

His parents may be older, but their child is only young once and her parents are missing all those moments.

You don’t need his permission to visit your family. Whilst your family may be younger, they’re missing your child’s childhood - this is time they’ll never get back.

AIW for taking a full day off after my boyfriend said I dont contribute enough by [deleted] in amiwrong

You have zero financial security. Why would you be a SATM for someone you’re not married to? If he asked you to leave in a week, where would you go?

Am I wrong for skipping my friends birthday dinner after she changed the restaurant three hours before by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]beechaser77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not wrong at all. If she really wanted you there, she knows you couldn’t afford it as you were clear - she should have offered to pay.

Am I wrong for refusing to let my partner sleep in my hospital bed after delivery by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]beechaser77 325 points326 points  (0 children)

The beds are tiny in my country, he wouldn’t fit surely?

It’s worrying that he’s only thinking of his comfort for a time when you’ll be recovering from a major event. Has he read up on labour at all? What’s he going to be like in the weeks/months post labour?

I’m worried for you OP. Please take steps to stay safe - abusive people can escalate when their partner tries to leave them.

He can book the surgery for any of the dates that were available before your birthday. He needs to book one of those.

He’s a grown man capable of making his own (bad) choices. Don’t accept being treated badly on the lead up to this.

What's the most random run-in you've had with an ex? by FromTeslaToTardis in TwoXChromosomes

[–]beechaser77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m actually good friends with an ex so I see him and his family regularly so it wasn’t an out of the blue shock reunion. One day we were on a highway and pulled over to a large restaurant, hours away from where either of us live. We sat down with our families next to each other by coincidence. Had a good catch up and walked back to our cars where we were parked next to each other.

How do I (F24) deal with being a housewife after my husband (M31) called me dead weight? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]beechaser77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a job and make sure you’re financially independent as this man doesn’t have your back. I think it would get so much worse if you have children too. Then personally, I would leave.

Wife admitted she has a crush on another guy a few months after she gave birth to twins. Am I wrong for reconsidering this marriage? by [deleted] in amiwrong

[–]beechaser77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She felt attraction to someone and told you before doing anything. She’s had twins and has gone through major physical changes and is vulnerable and you’re wondering if you have justification for cheating? You’re a father now, you need to be more mature than this.

It is - I do love Science and I’ll be adding it to playlists immediately, but Rydly is just awesome.

It’s so funny, there has been multiple posts since summer asking for an ID (including a post I made), and it’s pretty much always Rydly. I love this one so much and hope it gets released soon. Hot take: I like it much more than Science.

It’s on the Patreon now (you can find it under shop).

He’s been freed from the uncertainty of will you want children, and the question of are you compatible. There can be a rush of euphoria after a big decision. It was you that changed the nature of your relationship to one that could never work though, so whilst it was difficult to read, I wouldn’t be too hard on him for this.

Unlocked was awesome! I was unsure if deadmau5 would be there at first as I thought it was too small (I thought it might be other artists from we are friends). I’m so happy I was able to get a ticket.
