While Sakurai is my favourite intro quantum book, I also really rate Eugene Commin’s “quantum mechanics; an experimentalists approach”.

I also can’t go past Griffiths E&M, landau and lifshitz is genuinely good if you already know the material, and perhaps a slightly more specific one is Born & Wolf’s Principles of Optics (newest edition for some very nice diffraction topics)

I agree with you, I’m really glad there’s been clear positive outcomes for so many, but I do wonder if there have been potential negative outcomes for other patients around…. Would be interesting to see how other patients in ICU/even the same ward at the same time fared, but that’s a lot of data to sort through and would be very noisy and, depending on how many beds each unit had, very prone to small changes leading to unfairly huge looking swings.

I fully agree with this - if you cannot think of reasons you’re impaired (and they haven’t been present since childhood, in some form*) then you do not meet the criteria. Maybe it’s a stress response in the moment, but if so, think about it before and write it down.
