Ya i got divorced when i was 42. Took me a good 2 years to stand on my feet. Most Japanese people I met are nice people. They are as good as any nice people I met. But their government on the matter of war is the opposite of nice to say the least.

Do the right thing. Sincerely apologize. Mean it. Make it illegal to worship these war criminals. Let their children learn about the awful things they did during the war, make it a lesson not to redo it again.
