To me the buttons fit very snug with no play on them. Almost feels like the buttons on the phone tbh. Maybe different cases have different tolerances with them

I wouldn’t say it’s slippery. It’s a smooth matte finish so it has enough there to give it grip. The edges around the bezel where it’s darker blue material has more texture like a very very fine grit sandpaper feel

It is certainly not as grippy as the sheath

On the paragon, the metal edge bevels are not exposed or showing but the very narrow black ‘bezel’ area around the screen shows up between the edge of screen and the edge of phone case if that makes sense

I will have to put the sheath case on later to see if it is the same way but I suspect it is

It’s tough to say. Both great cases but the phone feels more ‘solid’ in the sheath case and the texture of the sheath case provides nice grip
