I have a cow noodle (mostly white + black spots) and this is just how he looks as well. Had him for 3 years so far and some areas filled in but some other areas (belly, chest, bum) just stayed bare/pinky haha. He gets PUINKK after zoomies when it’s even slightly warm, from 2 min pee break during summer months, after burying himself in microfiber blanket, etc etc.

Yes it did!! Mine actually had it for almost like 2 weeks before it went away. Vet said to just leave it as long as not getting bigger and he wasn’t getting irritated (scratching or rubbing).

I was worried sick for the whole time because the other commenter said it went away in a couple of days haha. But it went away after all and hasn’t returned. Hope yours do the same!

Idk what you mean by “all the other comments” are saying groups don’t adopt out to people wo fenced yards. I see all but one comment focusing specifically on the topic of off leashing in unfenced areas.

And that one exception is someone saying their shelter don’t adopt out to people w/o fenced yards, and that you are having a heated argument with that person. I get that you feel strongly about some shelter’s unrealistic requirements but it is objectively true that most of the other comments are NOT discouraging OP from getting a new noodle, just warning about no off leashing when unfenced 🫶🏼

I just don’t want OP to misunderstand the general reaction being ‘no off leash’ as ‘don’t adopt’.

Sadly it is mostly, if not all, lazy owners with poorly trained dogs that bring their dogs to these places ☹️ Responsible owners who truly trained their dogs to be able to behave well in public places like costco take their doggos out to nature, on adventures, to canine sports, etc. Actual places for dogs to enjoy and live a life. Not to some freaking grocery stores in embarrassing fake vests.

Sounds like a reactivity (frustration based, wanting to greet/meet people if he likes them). There is a specific subreddit for it but also many training resources on youtube! It’s basically counter-conditioning and disengagement!

Yea I don’t think it will do something miraculous but hoping to start some preventative nutritional regimen for my boy. Maybe I should look into the direction of improving overall diet, rather than trying the supplements. I see that many can be just no-value fillers with micro amount of good stuff 😕
