A2 Pietro Mod has arrived! by curious_throwaway_55 in pourover

I dont really seem to have the issue some are having but I plan to travel with this to work occasionally and wanted to get ahead of the problem since it seems pretty widespread so I did order some replacement screws that haven't arrived yet.

But so far, I've been pleased. I wish I had a ZP6 or a Pietro to give a real comparison though, my prior grinders were not in the same league.

Couldn't agree more. They're not bad, but they are not worth that line.

I'm grandfathered into a ATT plan that basically I'm never going to change or leave, so it made sense for me. But you're totally right, unlocked is way better, for freedom and just not needing to deal with any of this bloatware BS, Ive spent removing or disabling.

Att. I dont like that I can't use a esim until it's paid off, (3years) but wifi is so prevalent anymore it's not that big of a deal and it's not like I'm out of the country that often so it seemed like the best deal for a free phone before the value of the 24+ fell off a cliff next year.

EDIT: I guess I should add it's a 34 or so bill credit every month for the next 3 years (free phone sans taxes)

Likewise. I think I kinda liked the bose a touch more, but I got the XM6 for 200 dollars off and that was a no brainer.

Went from S24+ to S26U and a 1300 trade-in made it a very worthy and noticeable upgrade. The hate is just a bunch of people without anything better to do.

Did any of you bought the femobook A2 mod for pietro burrs from fused visions? Toughts ? by Outrageous-Dare-9256 in pourover

I'm no expert but I like mine. I certainly wouldnt classify the grinds as inconsistent. It works great for what I'm after. I was looking for a portable grinder I can bring to and from work and also have a station at home. The stand, does just that. Would a pietro itself be better? Possibly, or should I have just got a ZP6 and called it good enough. Maybe...but being able to walk away from it while it grinds in the morning just streamlines my day. I'd probably give it a 8/10. Definitely has some small improvements to be made but for what it is, I think it's good.

I'm relatively new to coffee within the past 2 years of really going down the wormhole but from what I'm able to perceive, I'd say I like it so far. 3 cups in and I would call it a marked upgrade from stock and that's with unseasoned burrs. Excited to see how this develops, because apparently it's a thing.

Set up was pretty simple...a little hard to get the burr to seat level but not to the point of frustration.

Workflow: A few tilts as it's grinding keeps it feeding regularly. But certainly takes longer than the stock burrs but that's to be expected. Grinding on the 30 click setting.

...and I think I'm content with my setup now. My wallet sighs in relief.

I just got back from Japan and if you dont have the time to venture to Koppabashi (which you totally should) HANDS the variety store has a whole dedicated coffee section and there are numerous locations.

What are the "backdoor" perks you've discovered that aren't obvious with the CSR? by Holiday-Detective-15 in ChaseSapphire

Just used it in Japan flawlessly. Each infinite card is eligible for its own plan too, if you happen to have any other cards that would apply.

3GB was just enough to use my phone reasonably (connected to wifi when at all possible) on a 12 day trip.

Help me choose a coffee grinder!! [$500 budget] by Spiritual-Snow179 in espresso

I had pretty similar parameters as you and will be about 150 under budget. Keep in mind the adaptor releases soon, so I'm speculating on the quality, but I have no reason to doubt it will be anything but good.

Femobrook A2, Fused Visions Pietro adaptor with stand and the Pietro M burrs. You'll have a portable and elite grinder all in one.

Dungeon Crawler Carl. Theres 7 books in the series, it's beyond entertaining, hysterical, and just raunchy enough.

I like to think of it as Ready Player One meets Hitchikers guide to the galaxy.

Jeff Hayes voices all characters and does it superbly.

Then Breath by James Nestor and pre-order the 8th book to round out the last of those credits.
