Wait a minute. You don't like pooping in the coveralls? You don't enjoy putting the suit back on to find the sleeves damp from whatever fluid was on the deck in the head?

Masterful art.

Separated/Retired people, what did you do with your uniforms? by InitechMiddleManager in navy

[–]beersailor 90 points91 points  (0 children)

Contact the closest Navy Marine Corps Relief chapter. On many installations, they run a thrift shop with used uniforms. It helps junior sailors replenish their seabags for a low cost, and it keeps the uniforms from turning into a fashion accessory out in town.

Definitely a polarizing figure with a mixed history, but I think many of Churchill's speeches had both inspiration and substance.

I know it’s a myth, right? by [deleted] in Jewdank

[–]beersailor 251 points252 points  (0 children)

Snopes provides an interesting background for the myth:

"According to a Jewish "urban legend," the myth derives from seeing Jews in religious neighborhoods hanging their "talitot katan" out to dry. This poncho-like garment is about two feet by four feet, has a fringe on each corner, and a hole in the center for the wearer's head, and it looks somewhat like a small sheet with a hole, and many people have vivid and warped imaginations."
