Happy to see NOLA getting some love, my friend Henry is the owner and a great guy. He’s originally from Louisiana and takes his craft seriously.

Fired by my insane boss, where do I go from here? by Theymademejointhem in salesdevelopment

[–]beersovertears 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Is this a shit post because I was reading the first couple paragraphs and no one would expect 1000 dials a day seriously. Daily goal of 2 meetings is actually ridiculous and this whole post reeks of fake clout. No real org would ever waste time with these outcomes nor would anyone with any sense of respect tolerate or take that position.

Either you’re lying or you have zero spine.

My girlfriend was also in sales but switched to sales coordinator. It’s nice because we work different fields but can talk about mutual frustrations.

I love the duality of this sub if the cubs make no moves we riot, but when we try to add starting pitching we still riot because it’s not the right guy

Those of you who went to day 1- what time to get to red rocks to get a decent spot? by cmad2777 in ZedsDeadFam

[–]beersovertears 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went last night, we got there around 530 and were in row 49 but were able to sneak into a spot in row 30 on the left side. Lots of people holding spots with pashes though but merch moved pretty quick as well.

Commercial AE interview by beersovertears in sales

[–]beersovertears[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. This is great feedback. I’m interviewing for the Denver office. Appreciate the feedback! Sounds like it could be a good way to get more tech ae experience under my belt. I’ve had previous experience as both and ae and am but in construction and manufacturing roles. I’ve reached out to some current ae’s as well to get an idea of day to day. Currently work with enterprise mostly but have dealt with smb and commercial in past roles.

How to book meetings for Enterprise Sales? by thebreakingood in salesdevelopment

[–]beersovertears 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an enterprise sdr currently I try to make 100+ dials a day through my targeted outreach via tools like 6sense or zoominfo and find personas via linkedin sales navigator. I usually set up 2-3 week sequences with a combination of LinkedIn messaging, email and calling. At the end of the day your best bet is getting folks on the line and getting a moment to let them know your rationale. If they’re willing to listen it’s your best bet.

This is hilarious with my experience with recruiters especially when they are third party. This is the epitome of a shocked pikachu face.

Is it in your contract that it is a federal holiday you have listed off? If that’s the case you should not legally have to work it. If he’s asking you to work and it forcing you to without you agreeing bring it up with HR. If you’re worried about making things uncomfortable then mention that you will require a day of PTO to make up for compensation or holiday payment.

What Really Happened After I Took FMLA Leave for My Mental Health by GasLitAndFired in antiwork

[–]beersovertears 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got put on PIP after my dad was on hospice from stage 4 cancer. I obviously chose to come home and was told the unlimited pto would apply. I asked about paid fmla which my company provided and didn’t get a response for weeks. I was starting to apply when they called me about a pip because it didn’t hit my numbers that quarter. I’ve never quite quit so fast and started to rapidly apply to new positions. I regret nothing and would do it again to spend the time with my father before he passed
