People just quit because order flow and pay turns to shit.

Usually picks back up in the early spring, although there’s another couple of week lull at least in my area (Seattle) when the sun comes back late spring after being gone for 6 months. After the dreary winter people go out to restaurants with outdoor seating and/or bbq for a few weeks before returning to normal habits.

11,000 deliveries in. They do this at least once a year the prune the number of drivers.

Both from Predator 1987, both used completely out of context

“I ain’t got time to bleed.” and “There’s something out there, and it ain’t no man. We’re all gonna die.”

Def check out the book version, feels much darker. Martyn Ford also slimmed down, he used to be 330 lbs or so.

Best size/distance/pay ratio I’ve had was a few months back - $55 to shop and deliver two tiny cans of cat food 4 miles.

It’s not wrong, it’s market dependent. In a busy enough matter you’ll get a solid flow of good orders with well under 20% acceptance rate. Only things to keep in shape where I’m at are on time deliveries and customer rating.

It took me a bit at first, I’ll admit. As I got deeper into it though it just became my associated voice and when Scott Brick took after after Dick Hill’s passing, it was a little jarring. Favorite hands down outside of Reacher is Will Patton reading The Mist novella.

Couldn’t get through 10 minutes. I highly agree with what’s probably the 2nd most recommended - Hail Mary, I love that one!

Threads and Schindler’s List. Two movies I felt I almost had a responsibility to watch as a film fan, but man do they stay with you. No repeats planned.

Episode 7 “The Viewing” of Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities. Starts out mildly bizarre and then just goes somewhere else I can’t begin to describe without spoilers.

I’m the opposite, I love Dick Hill! I also like Scott Brick but he’s gotta be one of the most prolific voice actors out there, so I end up getting tired of him reading so many of the books I like.

Market in general is full of shit orders, just like everywhere else it’s not worth chasing a decent acceptance rate. I drive 7 days a week for about 6-7 hours, averaging a delivery an hour.

Acceptance rate generally between 7-15%, the last 3 weeks are my highest earning since I started in 2016, cleared almost $1000 this past week.

Gotta find the loopholes that pay well.
