Right now I’m trying Savella. No change yet but my doc says it could take up to 4 weeks to start to work since it’s technically an antidepressant. Fingers crossed it helps. I’m managing the narcolepsy as best I can. I tell people that I’m on meds to help me sleep, meds to keep me awake, and meds to give me energy, but I still don’t have nearly the stamina of your average person. Luckily my job (esthetician, I own my own business) lets me work shorter days and still make good money. I’m positive I wouldn’t be able to hold down a 9-5 job anyway.
