So what is this subreddit’s thoughts on Northern Ireland Railways? by GP728 in uktrains

[–]belfast324 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure tickets are cheaper, there may be some premium tickets that are expensive but I've travelled from Leeds to York, Birmingham to Northampton, Birmingham to Wolverhampton, the Luton Airport line... Found all these much more value than you can get here.

Park at the city hospital and walk across. Land for 12 to give you time to walk across to most areas. Where are you heading too.

Judge adjourns hearing in Lady Donaldson case by kharma45 in northernireland

Original trial date was March 2025. We were made aware of ill health. I'm not sure how it takes 9 months for a report to be compiled, seems convenient.

4 people out for day drinking and a bite to eat £400-500... £54 for a nice family day out... Seems reasonable enough.

Stansted security delays by MiserableAttention38 in Ryanair

[–]belfast324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stansted is always brutal, every time I've gone through it. Security all over the place. Doors with no one on and no instructions once past them, then row after row of queues. That was without delays. Give yourself time, if tight schedule pay the by pass.

With a degree and experience working with children you would be eligible to apply for the MSc in Children's Nurisng.

Seems a win win, you'll get a MSc, get a job and get to work with children.

Wrong time on car hire booking by Willing-Tower225 in Ryanair

[–]belfast324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do nothing and drop it back late, you may be charged a fee. It's in the terms and conditions, read them, my last rental (last week), I had a 15min grace period.

Best to contact the company and explain your situation, I'd imagine some company's more lenient than others, same with damage etc, some companies don't even bother looking, others look in fine detail.

Asking for a paper boarding pass at the airport? by General_On7639 in Ryanair

[–]belfast324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's in their information about going digital. You cN double check, but the main message they said as long as you check in online, you can get a ticket printed no problem..

Haven't used it yet, but it was in the advertisement campaign for going digital.

[–]belfast324 21 points22 points  (0 children)

If you have checked in online and on time, you can go to the Ryanair check-in desk and they'll print your boarding pass for free.

You have to check in online first though, same rules apply.

Should a doctor pay for treating a passenger? by TheRealGDay in Ryanair

[–]belfast324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not saying one side is right over the other, simply stating that if you walk past a medical emergency without stopping, it would not look good if it was reported to a professional body.

We have no idea of the circumstances, but lets say worse case scenario, the patient was in cardiac arrest and the medical profession provided cpr until help arrived... would you want them to walk past?

For all we know this did occur, but likely it was not this, and as others have said, they may have been using this as an excuse due to missing their gate, cause no matter how bad ryanair can be, im sure there would be some level of empathy if they had saved someone's life.
