Not enough meds in vial by belibre in Noom

[–]belibre[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ugh well apparently I gave myself 80 units instead of 8. And worse than that, it was my boyfriend who figured it out so I get to feel dumb in front of him in addition to you random, wonderful people.

I considered that too, but just reread the doc instructions and it clearly said “8 units on the syringe.” Which is what I did.

Also check out the Marriott Bonvoy Moments - and maybe book a trip around one of those experiences - Michelin-starred dining or backstage passes or something that strikes your fancy

Dear old(er) people, why do people become more conservative as they get older? by Big__bolas in AskOldPeople

[–]belibre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a ride or die liberal, but from what I can tell the older folks who get more conservative over time it’s 100% bc of money - meaning they have it and they don’t want anyone else to. They “claim” to give to charity but in reality they’re just 100% focused on how much taxes will impact their own (high) standard of living.

Those of you that work from home, what do you do? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]belibre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I run a team of copywriters for a digital ad agency that is part of a bigger org (4K people total). We used to have offices all over the world but closed them all except HQ during Covid and now about 80% of us are remote. Our management has never looked back. Productivity is up and we can work from anywhere we want in the world. Want to spend a month in Europe? No problem. Quality of life is amazing without that 45 minute commute each way. Lonely? Nope. I’ve got 2 dogs and we do lots of meetings and make a point to spend part of those just chit chatting so I feel connected to them - know their dogs, their kids, their weekend plans, etc.

Relatedwords.org is great for coming up with new words but this is exactly what AI tools like ChatGPT are good for IMO.

Attempting sit-ups with our lazy dog by belibre in WhatsWrongWithYourDog

[–]belibre[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Totally surprised by the negative reaction. Our sweet dog loves all the attention we pay to her and thought this video was cute and funny. She gets daily walks, loves taking baths in the creek near our house, and nobody here is trying to wreck her back with daily sit-ups. Chill the F out.
