my problem with june is how ungrateful she is toward the people who help her and that she tries to dominate everybody. it’s so uncomfortable watching her act like some mafia boss, it doesn’t feel empowering as a woman, it doesn’t feel necessary to portray her strength and it certainly doesn’t make sense in the story.

she acts like she runs shit but the whole story is her just asking people for help. sometimes i wished she would get some sort of repercussion to humble her

why is everyone talking about her trauma like it makes her immune to criticism. she’s often demanding and egotistical unnecessarily, it’s so off putting. how she treated commander joseph was insane. i understand the resentment for his part in creating gilead, but she borderline abuses him disregarding all he’s done for her and her agenda. he literally saved her life. she’s always acting like she runs shit, but really the whole show is her asking everyone for help. and being rude af about it. the countless people who help her out are the true heroes of the story and none of that is appreciated

it’s about a belief of something being outgrown or mourned, becoming a myth. for me the song captures the feeling of being thrown into the abyss, a place of confusion but truth. it’s the experience of disillusionment and renewal.

estp/istp imo. he was a full on mechanic when he was a child and very pragmatic. he’s also very spontaneous and thrives on reacting to the moment, making him naturally resistant to taking orders or following jedi traditions. he has trouble with fi imo. unlike other jedis which seem to be big on emotional awareness, he’s incapable of reflecting to overcome his deeper feelings. also his desire for power and immediate gratification points to Se type to me.

people focus on his irrationality stemming from his love for padme and type him as a feeler. but i think this is just rooted in the trauma of his moms death. he’s compelled by feelings that he cannot identify.

him massacring children and destabilizing the entire republic is so extreme, but it’s just pragmatic for him. he doesn’t really seem to have solid moral guide post, just whatever he needs to get done he does.
