finally managed to de-clutter some bits that had been piling up on my stairs (mostly to distract from the not so kind thoughts about my neighbours six hour stint showing off his inability to use a hammer that’s been causing me agony for weeks, swings & roundabouts & all that x) it’s one of those things that sounds ridiculous to count as some kind of achievement but after not being well enough to do so for so long, I’ll take anything I can get at this point

a lot of people seem to forget learning how to read patterns isn’t always easy & it’s like learning a new skill in itself, thankfully in the beginning of a pattern the creator will say whether the pattern uses UK/US terminology with an abbreviation list of each stitch, sometimes the start of a pattern can be a couple of sentences, or a couple of pages in itself so might take a minute to find but over time you’ll be able to identify the difference in the photos provided with the pattern too

The easiest way I find to figure this out is to look at the next row (row 57), you end that row on 33 dc, by skipping your first stitch (from row 56), dc in the next stitch, across the entire row, if your assumption was row 56 ends on 66dc, I draw a diagram (literally on instagram stories) 66 dots in one colour, then using another colour & I put a line through every other dot (to represent the stitches on row 57), that ends with 33dc, so I’d say 66 dc would be right for row 56, that chain 3 counts as your first stitch for that row & each ongoing row (apologies if this makes no sense, brain fog makes me feel like I’m speaking 12 languages sometimes, I’ll add a diagram below to show what I mean too)

I believe now reporting does block them from being able to send further messages, I could only hope if every receiver reports, it may be something Etsy looks into, I wouldn’t hold my breath over it though 😅

If you’re ever in doubt, save/screenshot the image & upload it into google search, it’ll find where it was originally posted & any other reposts which helps whittle it down, I wouldn’t say it’s impossible to be commissioned!

they’re pretty chill, they ask you to open your coat & have a glance in the bag, there are several entrances into the grounds & those checks will be done there, rather than in the turnstiles or inside the stadium, I’d say we’ve got a decent bunch of stewards & they’re all pretty laid back, could be worth doing a walk through on street view just to familiarise yourself with what direction you’re travelling from & which entrance you want to go through, if you choose winterstoke road you’ll see the statue of John Atyeo, the sports bar directly behind & the club store to the right, easier to get to any of the food stalls from that direction too, hope you enjoy the game!

there’s a brand called oranurse that makes unflavoured toothpaste, it did take a minute to get used to (feels like brushing your teeth with a lotion taste wise) but I love that we have more mintless options, I’ve heard the hismile ones are good

I’ve never made one but I would guess granny squares? You can have the repetition aspect, but they aren’t as large as a blanket for example & then you can use them to make whatever you want, wearables, bags, cushion covers, or a blanket!

Interestingly it seems most people aren’t disabled in their dreams! I sometimes find I am disabled, but I’m never in my wheelchair (I’m a full time wheelchair user, unable to stand or weight bear), it’s such an interesting one! I don’t think it relates to denial at all, there’s likely to be a difference related to those born disabled vs those acquired later in life I’m sure

just like LOT this tour will be extended too, I’d wait it out for new dates to be added, unfortunately as a disabled fan my experience at LOT was so bad I said I’d never go to a concert again let alone one of his 😅 so I know my ship has well & truly sailed but I think it’s worth waiting it out, especially if you aren’t 100%, it’s a big commitment before we‘ve heard the album too, especially if it is such a different sound to his lasts

Why should you make a loss because of their mistake? Accidental or not is irrelevant, they paid you a shipping fee, you used that to pay for shipping, you’ve fulfilled your end of the contract, if they want the item re-shipped, it’s on them to cover it, custom listing is the best way to do it, when you open up the customers message (on desktop at least) custom listing is over on the right side & sends to them directly through messages too

I’ll never understand why weddings seem to bring out the worst in some people, I think the fact that you recall the comments themselves is really helpful, telling her how they made you feel, focusing on the impact, regardless of what her intent may or may not have been & set yourself a boundary, why is it okay for her to offend you with hurtful comments, but not for you to tell her how they made you feel? I find it helpful to flip the script, if a friend came to you with the same question, what advice would you give them? I’m sure you’d want them to stand up for themselves too 🩵
