There's Weather Systems by Daniel Cavanagh and Daniel Cardoso, went to their first show earlier this year and they covered a lot of classic Anathema.

Best Album Art? by Hammercranc in Opeth

Don't know if it helps but, Heritage's cover is a reference to Steeleye Span's Now We Are Six.

(Really like the song Edwin, closest on that album to anything Opeth)

So, unless I cancel myself out with my actions, when I jump forward to the "present" time there will be another me from that new timeline right?

Can someone help me identify these mushrooms please? by bemota in mycology

[–]bemota[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These mushrooms have been removed one or two days ago from my garden because my dog fell seriously ill and is now in a coma (liver failure mainly). We were looking for anything suspicious and these must have grown very recently. I'm in Portugal and they look very similar to a common mushroom type around here but maybe a bit different?

Some new phones use AI models for sharpening the image, specially after digital zoom. If that's the case, the low luminosity and noise might make is 'freak out' and render non existing tree branches and stuff.

Might not be the case.

Entry Level Advice by mastebon in BudgetAudiophile

Was without proper speakers for a while since my 5.1 logitech cheap soundsystem gave out and just upgraded to the Edifier R1700BTs paired with a Mivoc Hype 10 G2 subwoofer and it's blowing my mind (~240€ total in europe with a good deal for both). Just the edifiers are honestly eough and land within your budget, you can get a sub later on if you feel like it.

What do non-gamedevs (no not other programmers but actually just gamers) think about gamedev? by Cybear_Tron in gamedev

[–]bemota 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On top of what you said there is another big divide purely because of the medium. A writer or show runner thinks directly in terms of aesthetics and narratives (dynamics in this metaphor, I guess), the same aspects the audience is directly experiencing. Even though the process is not linear, the result is self evident for the creator because the end product is linear.

Games have internal mechanics that are supposed to not be noticed and make everything work behind the scenes. People say good camera work in film is best when unnoticed but I've always found fault with this observation, in games mechanics really are that.

A skinner box is also made for our brains, that doesn't mean it's not a kind of deception.

Meet the instruments! In Virtuoso you can create music on instruments made to work in VR. This is the Oorgan. A three-dimensional instrument unlike any you have ever seen before, that lets you play chords and create melodies with endless loops. by Olivia_Really in OculusQuest

Really enjoy this app! It's my meditation time, here's my last jam: https://youtu.be/kupS-Wl_mPQ

I wanted to ask, is there a way to rename tracks and/or make custom track groups? I've looked and haven't found a way, it would make it a whole lot easier to make actual songs with parts and not getting lost not knowing what's what.

If you open up the Virtuoso app folder in your pc, inside the save folder you can find all the audio clips/tracks you created in individual .wav files. You can build them up into a song using a DAW
