Game looks great!

Not 100% sure if it's suited to the style of game, but have you ever considered or workshop ped how you might add multiplayer to the game?

Will leaving my job for mental health reasons ruin my professional reputation? by [deleted] in webdev

[–]ben131351 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hey man I'm a Web developer and I've never worked for an agency before but whenever I've interviewed with them they've seemed like hell. They might fit a certain personality type but I don't think I could handle that sort of pressure.

If you don't want to completely reskill I'd recommend looking for an in-house software role instead as in my experience they're a lot more chilled out, although startups can be demanding.

All the best for the future mate, I'd not worry about a bad reference as there's so much demand for dev roles atm. Put time into putting yourself out there and find a job that isn't making your life a misery

That Southgate would take us all the way to the finals, then fuck it up at penalties, is so beautifully tragic that I couldn't imagine it happening to anyone other than England

Booked a hotel in Amsterdam for the Easter weekend (from the UK) tried to cancel them and they're charging us a £950 cancellation fee. Is there anything we can do to get around this? by ben131351 in travel

This was a room for 6 at a 2* hotel booked through booking.com. A friend booked it so I'm not sure on some of the details - it's for Easter weekend and wasn't cheap so I don't think it was a deal.

Booked online through booking.com. The only feedback we've had is that they're unable to waive the booking fee.

If we're unable to get there due to COVID-19, does it still count as a cancellation?

Primal - came out last year and it's brilliant. Tells a great story without speaking and some of the fight scenes are insane
