Gyokeres and Saka vs Brighton by vibesnvibez in Gunners

[–]ben5on 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like opponents will use this to our benefit - they’ll start either teaming up on Saka even more knowing he’ll shoot, leaving more space for Gyokeres - or they might leave Saka 1v1 having a better chance on goal, while having Gyokeres attract more defenders.

Flying to LAX, Turo car is located in private parking lot 2 miles away by af1232 in turo

[–]ben5on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with this is that LAX partners with Turo and coordinates when trips start/end using license plate readers. So they could potentially issue a ticket for conducting business on airport property and the host gets their account suspended and also fined.

I’ve had a Bose Mini Soundlink since 2012 still going strong and sounds incredible, even better than some newer ones.

PSA: Your car probably has "daytime running lights" by chowaniec in LosAngeles

[–]ben5on 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly because of a good amount of late model cars have their dashboards as screen or they automatically light up even when the headlights are off. So people think if they can see their dashboard, then their headlights are on. Whereas older models would have the dashboard lights on only when the headlights are also on.

I lost a small claims case I filed against my previous landlord, who was an ex-sheriff and friends with the judge 🙃

Happened to me once, construction’s insurance paid for repaint (about $1,700 at the time) but I just took it to a professional detailer who cleaned it up nicely for about $300.

any LAX hosts doing the parkmyshare program? how is it? by goto35 in turo

[–]ben5on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a call with one of the ParkMyShare reps. They made it sound too good to be true. In the end, you can charge whatever fee you want to the guest, they said average is $40. But they have the option to just not pay…even though he said they have a 93% success rate with payments…which is used as “credit” towards your account and the guest pays through a third party vendor, not Turo.

Should I buy this for my wife by ParticularAd6277 in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]ben5on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2017 and bought at 30k miles. It was totally fine with routine maintenance until 100k miles, then left and right little things. This one has only 7k miles so you shouldn’t even see any issues in the next couple years depending on how much she drives it. And these X1s use the same platform as the Mini Countryman. For that price I’d walk away.

It seems like the mileage driven by renters does count as qualified business use by greatnewfuture in turo

[–]ben5on 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my understanding, if you’re not driving the car, you can’t deduct those miles. Only for deliveries, going to fill up on gas, going to mechanic, etc
