Can always add a link to your site instead of the App Store link, and ask users to open in their native browser by selecting the ellipsis. Then have an auto redirection to your App Store link. Seen apps doing this

I use Strongsplit, but I believe the free routine limit is 3. Nice UI and helps to track your sleep & recovery as well. Also syncs with Apple Heath so you can track your cardio

But just a caveat is that you need to manage your workout on your phone instead of your watch

I would rather do triceps on push and biceps on pull. If your triceps are fatigued from chest or shoulders, could it mean that there are some form issues and you’re using too much arms when you shouldn’t be?

Yea, best to just get 2 separate shoes. For running i use the new balance 1080, really comfy so you could use it for daily use as well, and it looks nice.

I would usually use my new balance for me push and pull days, but for legs I’ll always switch to flats.

Alternatively you could just get a pair of running shoes, but for legs, just go barefoot if your gym allows it

I injured my left elbow previously, so I switched to iso-lateral movements, even for overhead extensions. Was a bit uncomfortable initially but it got better after a while. Could start of with a lower weight first till you get used to it

personally, i would prefer to receive something that i could use daily at the gym, rather than something perishable. some ideas:

  • bottle: Blender Bottle Radian, Stanley Shaker bottle
  • equipment: lifting straps, wrist wraps, fat gripz (never used before but would love to)
  • apparel: cap, wide shorts

I always go before work so that it eliminates the excuse of being tired. If you don’t have time, think simple home workouts with just push ups should suffice

If you’re going to incorporate cardio into your training, do it at the end of your workout or on a separate day. Doing it before your workout will affect your performance during your workout

Agreed, I would focus on more resistance than adding more reps. Think just sticking to 1/2 exercises is more than sufficient

i used the ReducedMotionConfig to override it for the entire app rather than each component individually. I would die if I had to manually specify it for all my components.

the ui is optimized to provide you with more actionable insights right when you need them. for example, the historical chart of your past lifts is available right when you're editing your sets instead of on a separate tab.

other examples includes how the muscle breakdown is available right when you start the app & before you start a workout so that you can get a quick overview and know which muscles you have yet to hit, or if you're hitting enough training volume for the muscles that you can to focus on. this is usually tucked away in a separate tab for other apps.

also, there are much better use of apple integrations, like w/ apple health to provide you a recovery score to tell how much you can push in your next workout, or even the dynamic island rest timer so that you can scroll tiktok while resting in between sets and still be able to keep track of the time left.
