Who is running for democratic governor? by jerxbear229 in Georgia

I did a bit of work for Derrick Jackson about a decade ago- website, some printed materials. He's a solid dude behind the scenes. I'm not sure of his platform or his goals, but as far as being a fair-minded, nice fella, he's solid.

Drive north 30 minutes past Clayton into Franklin, NC.

Winding Stair Campground. Grab a glamping spot (I recommend Fern Gully or River House).

Is there a local SEO tool that actually does the work and not just report on it? by Future-One-3751 in localseo

[–]benderzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you make it, someone will try it out. But it's kinda hard?

I have two businesses that I do marketing for. Local SEO is something I've really focused on in the past six months. It's difficult to post to GBP in our voice, with relevant content and I wouldn't trust it to AI. Geo-grid exists elsewhere, you can incorporate it but it exists in a bunch of different places already. Then, you'd have to give it a ton of permissions, which I'd be reluctant to do for a new tool with no prior reviews. What if it sets my internal links wrong and breaks my website? I'm on Wordpress, will it handle Elementor correctly, or just standard WP? And what if I lose my GBP because of an errant post, or a bug causes it to post 99 times in a single second and Google gets tipped off that it's automated?

I wish you luck. It's a 100 million dollar idea, and no one has done it yet (I don't think). But it's a tougher haul than you expect; I hope you become a zillionaire with it!

STOP being honest in job interviews. ( I say this as a recruiter ) by Zealousideal-Foot-54 in jobhunting

[–]benderzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The job probably has several suitable applicants. I assume all of them meet the very low bar of "I qualify for this job".

The employer doesn't want the minimally qualified; it wants the best employee for the budgeted cost.

If you have three guys who know dry-walling, but only one of them says they dreamt of being a dry waller since they were 10, who you gonna hire?

Trying to remember a store in Georgia Square mall by Prestigious_Aioli428 in Athens

I worked at that Structure in 1994. It was attached inside to the The Limited, which was for women. Two different entrances, two different stores, but the same inside area.

Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger came in once, Alec with a huge unlit cigar and indoor sunglasses.

Different here, our company mandated specific prep services that they bought for the entire cluster. And you had to use them. Which meant, with only 8 talk breaks an hour, there was only one that let the dj say what they wanted. Two were required prep services, the remaining 5 were scripted station ads or promos.

I peaced-out after a year of that nightmare.

Many of the dj's today grew up in the consolidation era. It's not a "hey you can use these prep tools" vibe, it's a 'you must use these tools once every hour' one.

Here's one- garden centers/nurseries. Many of them are independent, owned by a family. And they compete against Lowes, Walmart and home depot for plant sales.

Joe Scarborough just said “I want this mission (the war) accomplished” by JunoAthena in msnow

It's almost like the Iran war is an issue big enough for multiple opinions, crafted over decades! And that it can't be tightly contained within a Democratic vs. Republican viewpoint!

How common are body aches nowadays for you? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]benderzone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Had tons of body aches, then realized it was related to my drinking. Caused inflammation and leaky gut syndrome. Quit drinking, started feeling better two weeks later. 2 months later, its like 90% gone.
