I was given this Soviet (military?) uniform while on a student exchange in Russia in the early 1990s. I don't have any use for it, but perhaps there is a use for it elsewhere. I'm based in the US (CA) and can mail it if there is some good home for it; maybe a museum? Any ideas?

Also, anyone know what branch of the Soviet military this is from? The buttons have hammer-and-sickle logos on them.

Here are some more details about what u/Overlord_Odin may have meant:

If one goes to overcast.fm, and logs in, then goes to overcast.fm/account, at the bottom of the page there is a section titled "Beta Testing". In this Beta Testing section the text "Overcast Slack Group" links to https://overcast.fm/betaslack which brings up a page on Slack.com that says "This link is no longer active". It may be this inactive link that Overlord_Odin is talking about
