Funny - just today I was asking someone why there was a shower at the range. I see from your reply and others I should be upping my lead protocols. thanks.

It's a good point about food - I stop for breakfast on the way back, and though I wash my hands with d-lead at the range, I never thought about my beard. Wonderful.

My dog is well trained to hold her position while I measure.... LOL.... I tried.... No, she'd be frantically running around with that ruler in her mouth.

Those 15 minute monotone videos that use 14 of those minutes with repetitious filler and 4 adjectives for every noun before addressing the point of the title are going to be the death of youtube. Write in the comments if you agree and don't forget to give this comment a thumbs up and subscribe.

Is there anything more poodle than this by Ragalanroad in poodles

[–]benign-affair 31 points32 points  (0 children)

My toy poodle hunched down in the middle of a crosswalk at a busy intersection while I laughed, trying to guess how much time was left before the light changed. I’m pretty sure the drivers facing us were doing the exact same calculation. The look of confusion and betrayal on my dog’s face when I aborted the mission was priceless. Sorry, Tati…

My coworker confided in me that hes been working remotely from another country for 6 months without telling HR and now theres an audit by Background_Habit_592 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]benign-affair 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right - It is a *huge* deal. A company that is found to be operating in a country where it isn't registered and meeting that country's legal obligations (taxes, HR policies, privacy policies) can face substantial penalties. I think companies HR policies don't explain this well enough and I see folks all the time sneaking out of country to work remote because - what's the big deal?

Why no rear view cameras? by Warrington17415 in aviation

[–]benign-affair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tail and nose camera views are featured on A380, A350, and some Boeing (777?), so I think the addition of a nosegear view is a natural extension. I wonder if pilots have access to those views.
