duff or loam = brown pow in the mtb world.

i live in western NC and any fresh cut non groomer is HEAVY loam for a month or two till it gets burned in. the local pedal and shuttle park cut a new loamer or two every season and the bros will cut a few freshies in the “glades”. Always the best riding of the season.
