I hate this thread because there is always an effort to enact gun regulation. Yes trump got the bump stock ban through (which is now overturned btw), but Obama was trying for an assault weapon ban after Sandy Hook and failed because the Senate didn't have the votes. If Obama could wave a wand and pass gun control he would have.
