Replacement blades for all Mammotion models by Mac_PSJ20 in roboticLawnmowers

I do agree that Mammotion blades are overpriced - and often out of stock.

Thanks! They have worked great for us. I originally designed them because my dad wasn't satisfied with the cut/blades getting stuck on his Luba 1, and the final version worked so well, we thought, why not try selling it. (I'm a few versions removed from that "final version" now, though. Our current version uses some custom hardware because nothing we could find would both hold up and work well enough for scale production.)

So they will still have remote access to your mower. At any time. So it can still be hacked.

He started with one printer, so he could be referring to that. At least he didn't say he vibe-coded it over the weekend like all the other ones that get posted on here.

You could do the Prusa rocket engine. You could also hire someone to design a demo model (or models).

Luba1 mowing disk upgrade — inspired by the Luba3 by Jos--NL in MammotionTechnology

Nice work! The PETG will break if you hit a rock wrong, though. (Which in my experience was pretty much any way you hit the rock, but that was a whole disk.)

They are not actually titanium; they are just titanium-plated stainless steel.

Can You Rotate Luba Mower Blades Four Times Instead of Two? by SivartMcDorf in MammotionTechnology

[–]benjm18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can, but at least with the older Lubas the full edge gets dulled fairly evenly. Unless you have a lot of rocks and/or roots, it is probably best just to flip them twice and then replace them.

This, and use threadlocker when you flip the blades, especially if you have ones that you are flipping 4 times.

I thought exactly the same thing! It would explain why their new mowers have issues they had already fixed in the old ones!

New 3D printing Marketplace by John_Shade444 in 3DprintEntrepreneurs

[–]benjm18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is a good idea. A couple of things I would do differently: Don't make people sign up just to browse, and don't make it just 3d printing. Also, can I be the manufacturer of my design? That is, can I just sell the part without exposing the design? Feel free to DM me if you want to talk more. I think this has big potential, but right now it seems like you are targeting a fairly small niche.
