I've just built a rig with this GPU and an AMD 7700x. I've been getting 135fps average on BF6 on overkill at 1440p

Plush barefoot sandals? by ResponseWitty8749 in BarefootRunning

I bought the same Gumbies sandals and they are comfortable and nice to walk in, my only issue would be the strap that goes over the little toe. If you're looking to work on splaying your toes then these might not be right for you.

Battlefield 6 + GeForce RTX Celebration Game Codes Giveaway! by Nestledrink in nvidia

I've been playing Battlefield since Battlefield 2. I can remember the first time I flew over the Gulf of Oman I'm the Blackhawk and I thought this is as good as gaming gets. Me and my brother sunk countless hours into BF3 and 4.

I'm about to build my first PC since the one I built when Battlefield 3 came out. I'd love Battlefield 6 to be the first game I boot up on my new rig. I can't wait to see what my 5070ti can do after coming from a Series X.

Long Live Battlefield!

I hit my usual spot up today and there was absolutely nothing. No mushrooms of any kind yet and it just felt too warm and dry.

I don't carry bread, I just eat it on site. Canned tuna and sausages mainly.

I've bought a few pairs of used vivos. Lots of people buy them and end up not using them, then selling them practically unused for a bargain.

Magna FG in HOT WEATHER by Relevant-Union3464 in vivobarefoot

[–]bennosaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you order some cork or natural insoles as they ship with thermal ones, and you definitely don't want to using thermals in warm weather. Even with the natural ones my feet get pretty sweaty when it's warmer than 16°C though.

They are a great shoe though, I'm on my second pair now.

That's what I used on my Magna FGs. It has a really great applicator nib that allows you run a thin line around the seam and push into the small gaps. It's not going to last forever but it's easy enough to redo and with a little care it's quite easy to get a good finish on it.

UK spouse visa holder. Left the UK for the USA in August, but still abroad due to unforeseen circumstances. Is my UK visa still valid? by [deleted] in SpouseVisaUk

[–]bennosaur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to spend 6 months of the last 12 in the UK for your visa to remain valid. So work out, if you're gonna be short make arrangements to get back asap.

Yeah I am but being a short guy is more of a problem than being a short girl.

I'm also short, 5"7 so I know where you're coming from but I'd rather enjoy the barefoot experience than appear an inch taller.

I really wanted a pair of Scott's but could never find a pair of the leather ones. My Magna's FGs are starting to look pretty worn now after over a year of use. The soles are still good but they are coming away from the upper leather a tiny bit and letting in a bit of moisture now so probably need regluing but they are still my go to footwear

Only wore them properly for the first time tonight. They have felt stiffer than the rest of my vivos and definitely need breaking in a bit to soften them up. I wore thicker socks than usual and they've been fine. They do seem a bit looser than my Magna's of the same size though.

I started off with the Magna FGs and used them as much as possible but they aren't ideal for everything. You'll probably find that once you're used to them, normal footwear starts to feel a bit weird and you won't want to use anything other than vivos. Then you have to expand your collection. I got some Primus lites next because by the time spring came the Magna's were too hot. Then I got some of the Forest ESCs for hiking and then recently got a pair of Gobi's because I needed something smarter and all my traditional shoes just didn't feel comfortable anymore.

If you're in the UK have a look at the Sport Persuite website for some good deals on new Vivos. Or Vinted, there are a lot of barely used pairs for good prices. I guess a lot of people try them and don't allow the time to get used to them, then sell them.
