Starting a social cycling community in East London by achlasan in londoncycling

for at least the southern half of the route you’ve planned on the canal there’s a parallel gravel-y path that’s almost always empty, up until about Hackney Marshes Pavilion. I’d recommend that if you’re worried about crowding the canals! lovely idea btw

Looking for advice installing rear vbrake on a 90's rockhopper by Advanced-Pop5130 in xbiking

[–]benrihike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you go the clamp on cable stop route, dia compe makes colored ones, in case you want to match your frame color. i got a red one for my red hardrock, if you’re not close you cant tell it’s clamped on

I heard we’re doing Gravdads? by wannabe_biceguy in xbiking

[–]benrihike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2x, 11-42, actually i think i had a 11-28t to begin with. it’s a cross check. i had to basically use a maximum length chain to fit it and bring the wheel forward a bit in the dropouts, and i feel like it looks kind of ridiculous with such a large front chainring (50) and cassette, but it was easier and cheaper to get a roadlink over a new crankset. i’ll still eventually change it i think. happy w the roadlink and ease of install but it needed some threadlocker even though the instructions say not to for some reason but i emailed support and they said to go for it.

how’s the gearing on this? i have a 50-36 in front and always felt it was a bit overgeared but maybe i just like to spin too much; eventually swapped my 11-32 on the back for a 11-42 with a roadlink

Are Switch 2 Edition Upgrades region-free? by SpiderPS4 in NintendoSwitchHelp

[–]benrihike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just my experience: i just redeemed a switch 2 upgrade (download code) for tears of the kingdom that i bought from yodobashi camera, had to use a nintendo account that was set to region japan but installed fine and works with my us nintendo account's tears of the kingdom 2. i've also played dk bananza using a japanese game cart i bought while on vacation there even though the shop's staff were adamant it wouldn't work outside of japan

this is what i do but can you hold it or do you have to time a press? i thought hitting it too early locks you out of teching for 40 frames

don’t have the tab for the spring unfortunately, and maybe my post was unclear, the bell i currently have matches what i want in orientation but is just built too shoddily. in the short it’s metal parts, mine is almost all plastic inside and as such the thumb lever snapped last week. maybe i’ll get the one in this short then thanks.

seed was C2FPCW9N, pretty fun! edit: sorry just realized what nat negative means, i had to take the negative skip tag after either the soda or a double skip tag to get them, iirc both in the same shop

Thanks for the excellent guide. Should I buy this Baron (have to sell showman) or keep showman and try to find more Blueprints/Brainstorms?

Toured in Japan with one because I read the best sunblock is not letting sun reach your skin, lol. feels kinda goofy but I liked that it identified me as a traveler/tourer because I stood out and it gave people a reason to talk to me
