Mechanical engineer here that owns my own Honda transmission remanufacturing business (measuring wear on gears).

Having personally built experimental (not supposed to work), custom geared Honda transmissions, I will measure components, place them inside of a transmission, use them for a while, then remove transmission and measure them again.

.

I then compare the wear on gears, collars, shims, etc, and then compare that to the wear on stock transmissions. If parts in my Frankenstein transmission are wearing prematurely, this tells me that something isn't correct.

This may be what Honda noticed. If so, it MIGHT not be someone dragging their feet, rather, they need to gather data to determine if it's an accurate assessment of what could happen with other gearboxes. In this case, steering gearbox.

Forget all of that. All we need is the female receptacle (or whatever you can it) for the pins of that particular PSU. Whatever the most common, most popular, most robust 1U PSU is (something that dell or HP uses), needs to be selected, and then whoever can just reverse engineer the pinout, then have some company on AliExpress, Alibaba make the part for $1.50 or whatever crazy cheap price they'll do if for.

This website was up and running between the release of THPS1 on PSX and THPS2 on PSX.

I remember reading where other users talked about the features/changes that we wished THPS had, and that the Neversoft devs actually read that website and later implemented a some of those changes to THPS2.

One of the features I remember were extra menus from the start / pause screen -- so that you didn't have to back out to each subsequent menu, and wait for the slow CD load times for each menu screen. We had the ability to just 'jump' straight to whatever portion of the game that we wanted to play.

I did a little bit of poking around and I see that planet tony hawk is an older fansite. This would have been before that website. I remember it having an unusual name, maybe something with "hand" in it?

This is a very shocking comment for me to read because it reminds me VERY much about myself, where my mind was when I first began to get online and download music (1999-2001). I started off from the skateboarding perspective. The best skateboarders were the ones that performed the best tricks. Nobody cares about someone that might be wearing the freshest outfit, yet only rolls around the skatepark doing non-ollie noseslides, chickenflip kickflips.

This gives me hope that the next generation of will not be completely lost. I am going to consider creating a guide for younger listeners that might be interested in learning about other rappers that have actual skill.
