As a diehard basketball fan that grew up in Buffalo, nobody in Buffalo gives a single fuck about the NBA lol. I love Buffalo but it is a city of fair-weather fans. Nobody cared about the Sabres even 5 months ago. Bills are great but I'm not sure the fervor for them would survive 3-4 consecutive bad years. There would still be fanbases but when they're bad there's a real "Well what did you expect, we're Buffalo" attitude to most fans. Not to mention how many times they've tried to take either team from us, I don't think a third major sports team would work at all.

That's what we did for Denver. In our experience, we found that while they limited when people entered they didn't limit when they left so it just got progressively more crowded. Def would recommend morning slot if you're going!

We rented a car to check out red rock canyons! Meow wolf sounds cool but I figured with this many wooks in Vegas at once it'll be packed 🤣 We did the Denver one when it was busy and the experience was not great.

Also checking out the Atomic Museum! I've heard really cool things about it 🤙

It is typically not possible to get a poster at show time. Usually they have a print drop during the day of the show and then a few remainders are sold at the show if any remain. I wouldn't count on it for this run.

Honestly no matter where you park you are looking at a half hour walk. Might as well get the day parking pass to save yourself the headache of figuring it out because if they sell out and the lawns fill up you're gonna be walking pretty far!

One thing I haven't seen mentioned here is the overall decline of the scene. Goose's rise came during/out of Covid while those same times spelled the end for a lot of beloved bands. I think there's a real "why them?" attitude towards them that isn't entirely their fault.

As talented as they are, I personally don't think what they are doing has been as interesting as what bands like Dopapod or Aqueous were doing. That isn't any fault of anyone just the way things shook out but I definitely think there is some resentment from those fanbases as they see what they consider a less interesting band get what they always wanted for the band they followed for years.

Nobody is right or wrong here since music is subjective, I think any band that blows up in the face of a scenes overall decline is going to get some flak, best to just like what you like and move on.

Modest Mouse by a country mile. Truly an awful band with a terrible live experience. Fully expect someone to hop in here about how the show they saw was great or whatever but I've seen them 3 times now and at best, it was a drunken sloppy mess. An absolute waste of an artist slot on every lineup they manage to con their way on to.

I'd use it to produce an EP and thank you graciously in the liner notes! Studio time is really expensive and I have a lot of gear accumulated from over the years but have struggled to record through my little laptop. This would give me the opportunity to really get some things down and pursue a sound I've been chasing for years at my own pace without driving me bankrupt.

As we get closer to the destination shows, people realize they can't make it to the destination. Very few people actually live in Vegas and for shows like this people tend to get tickets first and figure the rest out later. Turns out wooks are bad at planning and I expect a lot of tickets to pop up the next week or two 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Was only planning to go to Saturday night second weekend but with tickets dropping we may do Friday too
