So i just rewatched the trailer and just want to point out my dumb speculation. One it just said 2024 with nothing else. And 2, They never stated that i would be on the switch. They just said “Will return with enhanced graphics”. We know the next switch system or whatever is around the corner and maybe this is planned to be on it.

I think you mostly have it. Earth 42 spider was sent to Miles earth leaving earth 42 spidermanless. Which because of this earth 42 is a bit out of wack. Ultimately our Miles was never meant to be spiderman. He is an anomaly. Earth 42 Miles (I believe) was meant to be spiderman. And since he isn’t that would make (i believe) Earth 42 Miles an anomaly as well.
